I think Midnight, was the episode that first broke Ten, losing Rose was one thing that hurt him. But on that bus, away, he was alone. Because his companions always help people see the Doctor as he is, those who don't know him, they just see this know-it-all stranger, and they don't always believe in him. On that bus no one believed in him, and that kind of broke him. Then it esccelated after he lost Donna as well.
I think the Doctor was the last Doctor who truly felt like a good guy. A hero, a legend who saves races and fights evil. Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi have gotten much, much darker, and the choices the Doctor has had to make have been much more brutal, often with him being painted as a villain by many in the galaxy. People begin to fear him and hate him as much as love him.
I think one of the main reason Doctor Who is so magical yet so SAD is because there are so many broken characters in it. The most obvious example is The Doctor, who keeps losing everything, a less obvious one could be Jack, who's lived a hundred years and seen his wife die, his grandchild die at his hands, and Ianto and everything that happened between his meetings with The Doctor. Yes, the Doctor opened - opens - all of his companion's eyes, but they also open HIS. They remind him that things he has seen over and over can still be beautiful. They make his feel more alive, just as he does for them.

I loved most was towards the end when you included a couple second clips of him at the hospital in New New York, being happy and excited and full of life, its awesome to see him like that again when you see how towards the end of his life he seemed to nearly lose his mind and died a lonely and broken man, i love to see him at the beginning, when you could never guess how far he would fall. Thank you.
This is the like 100th time i have watched this and i am still crying about it. I LOVED DAVID TENNANT! i love the Tenth Doctor. He had the most emotion towards like anyone, he always gave someone a chance, even if they let him down. CRYING!! need a tissue.
The 9th Doctor was good. The 11th Doctor was good. But 10? He was the best. His connection to his companions. His raw emotion. His loyalty. David Tennant was the best actor anyone could have picked for the 10th Doctor. His ability connect his emotion to the audience was amazing. He was also helped along with amazing companions; Rose, Martha, Jack and Donna. (Billie Piper, Freema Agyeman, John Barrowman and Catherine Tate). He was amazing. They were amazing.
DAVID TENNANT!!! in case you haven't noticed, i just finished season four, and i really shouldn't be watching all these 10th doctor amvs, it's making me relive the depression =(

10 was definitely the Dr that kept me. TBH, I don't know that I am a Dr Who fan much outside of him. I started with 9, and the show just barely kept me watching, and then David came along and BAM, I am all in. Then Matt Smith came along. I don't hate Smith, but am I the only one that is a little irritated that just about all of the secondary characters and plots seem completely forgotten by 11? No rose, donna, mickey, martha, and jack? They just, didn't exist? (I'm a season behind btw. Netflix)

Guess who my Doctor is? Ten just felt everything so much deeper than any of the other Doctors. He was so always in pain, all the time, and yet he found so much happiness and love in all the little things. Plus Tennant was just SUCH an amazing actor.
I just find new people who haven't seen the Doctor yet and re-watch the series....It's like watching it for the first time everytime I find a new watcher.
i think the reason david, to me, was amazing as ten is because he is a die-hard fan and was long before he even was the doctor. i watched an interview where he said he got into it during the seventies, i think, so he's a big fan. (plus he married the fifth doctor's daughter!) so he knew, imo, how to all of that emotion and history and then also make it his own. plus, david's a brilliant actor; he's powerful in a way that makes people feel emotions. (oh, and handsome. do not forget that)

I love how you used Wilfred to start it off and this was a great song choice. I don't really like Paramore too much but it really showed the vulnerability of the Doctor. A brilliant, an immensely brilliant video.

Ten was so broken towards the end that he started to become the villain himself. So he chose to die while he was still a hero.
David was the best. I miss him. Matt just isn't the same and Christopher was just... David and rose left a hole in my heart that will never be fixed.
