blimey , what all these old cars would be worth now , years ago there was an abundance of huge old Austin Westminsters , big old Rovers Triumphs Jags etc , and we never really realised their true value . I do remember watching this on ITV WOS , with Dick Davies brilliant !

Back with these older cars the front had very little strength with more modern banger racing the whole rear of the car completely caves in from the first hit. And cars are almost invincible at the front. Bought time N-cap started looking at safety for the rear of cars!

Formula one would be so much more interesting if it was run on a figure of eight. It would actualy be worth watching and an infinity ∞ symbol even better but with it never ending who would be the winner?
Brilliant quality video they built strong back then but total bangers engine wise died to easy worn out driven 4 years carrying all that weight cars were like thanks back then designed to dive threw things not crumple like 2days cars.
Huw jones i will agree with u,i use to watch WOS wen their cameras wer at 3 meetings a year.northampton,foxhall heath stadium ,and wimbeldon as well.jags,morris oxfords,austin cambridges,triumphs,fords u name it they had it.these bangers we now r rubbish i perfer the pre 1960s,70s,80s,and some 1990 cars they look n sound even better.
I like how they race around n there's a roll over n they just keep racing around absolutely bonkers compered 2 2days racing.that wud of been STOPPED INSTANT....
