Absolutely love your work. I also have a 5VZ-FE, 2001 4Runner Supercharged. Can you post some videos of the new ECU running/with the tuning software and your take on it? Does the new one account for knock sensors?
Can you show where you physically mount the breakout board and uaEFI in the 4Runner? I imagine the uaEFI just goes in the glovebox. But the breakout board has to go right next to the factory ECU, right? In order for the factory wiring harness connectors to plug into the breakout board? Because I don’t think there’s much slack in the factory wiring harness for the ECU connectors to stretch into the glovebox. Thanks.
I haven’t permanently mounted anything yet so I just have the glove box off. It’s a really tight fit with the HVAC stuff in the way but I’ll eventually make it work and show a video

Absolutely! I will be showing the process the entire way in future videos

@@TurbineResearch is it all currently just dangling where the glovebox should be?
@@robertmazza6268 yes 🙌
how did you wire up ur ecu or atleast determine the wiring? having trouble doing mine on my 93 miata
RUSefi makes plug and play ECUs for the Miata. Otherwise you just need to research how to wire it
