Janice look at this as a mission. I became a widow 6 years ago suddenly unexpectedly. It was a shock. So I was looking for a way to heal my heart. The bible tells us to reach outside ourselves and help others and in turn it will help you. So I started my healing journey with travel and camping. I started sharing my journey through a Facebook Group. By sharing with others my journey, I was reaching others that needed a way to heal themselves via loss or trauma. Or just motivating others to get out and enjoy God's creation.This became my mission. As time has evolved it has changed in so many ways. But my mission has stayed the same. Sharing your family and the way you live your homestead life will help so many. Our times are grave, we need to learn new skills. Help us to learn how to do them. Gods blessing on your life and your new UA-cam journey.

I’m a mom of 5. My youngest is soon to be 16! 😢. As you said, it’s very hard for a mom to see them grow up and leave the nest. It’s a heartache like no other, yet at the same time very proud too! Looking at pictures and videos of their childhood helps to soothe the transition 💔 and let go.

I don't have much ground under me so I will not have cows or sheep ect.. but I want to grow fruit and veg, get some hens and ducks. Plus learn to preserve food. Hopefully I won't make a mess of it lol 😂

Well Gypsy, the channel has definitely grown much bigger than I imagined! It's also a lot more work than I thought at the very beginning. However, I do still feel that this is something that God nudged us to do. I'm also still very grateful to have video of my children. We've only had our channel for 9 months and I can see such a huge difference in little Rebekah between this 9 month old video and present-day. Time just goes so fast!
