Interesting that he started with Alexander instead of The Assyrians and/or Nebuchadnezzar. It seems that would have started the "intermixing" of race, long before Alexander. He made some interesting points, and I can see where there might be some confusion. But I don't think he came to a conclusion.

The Rabbi is forgetting the mixed company that came out of Egypt, the groups of people who joined Israel during their desert voyage because they heard of YHWH's reputation. These were men.
Forgot about the women taken from Shechem after Jacob's sons cowardly killed the male population.
All the women and their children who were turned out from Israel had male children who carried the DNA of their Hebrew fathers.
One group offered to be servants. I can't remember their distinction. Moses made exceptional laws for these people. ❤️
He is also forgetting that there was no Middle East until the 19th century and did not become a thing until 1902.

The Middle East was the Near East or the Levant, it was always someplace separated by geography.

Was Abraham a Jew? I ask because he is not listed as such. His father, Terah, was not a Jew. His mother was not a Jew. Isaac was not a Jew by blood nor was Jacob or Esau. Shem, said to be the pregenitor of the Jew, was not a Jew. If he were a Jew by blood, that would make his mother a Jew. By proxy, Ham and Japheth would, likewise, be Jews. Why does scripture say that the Jew came through the bloodline of Elam? There is, according to what is written, no Jew prior to the tribe of Judah. Even then, Judah would have to be the son of a Jew through his mother, not Jacob. Wherefore, is the criteria for the designation, Jew?

To help here the distinction you bring up is a more recent and still ongoing debate rooted in the medieval sages. Abraham is considered a Jew for many reasons but principally because of his devotion to G-d and his receiving of the covenant. I have heard it said that it kind of helps to think of him as the first convert in a sense. After his life with G-d became his primary mission you see the mirroring of the convert motif with his separation, and really rejection, of his family from himself. He leaves the "idol worshippers and image makers" in his family and instead becomes something wholly different. I am not master of the Talmud but I think I got it sorta correct here in terms of the explanation.

The Jews changed their religion when they rejected the Mosaic Laws, that's when they became the Jews we now know. However the real Jews are the Israelites who carried on God's word.

Disclaimer: I am not a Jew (that I know of), but I am on a quest to try to understand the past and the future. I believe that the Jews (whoever they are) were excellent record keepers and very intelligent. Now, you can toss this off as garbage, and that's fine. But it might shine some light on the original poster's question. There's more to it, but I stopped it at a point I think everyone would recognize. It's from Luke Chapter 3 (Mary's bloodline): >31 Which was the son of Melea, which was the son of Menan, which was the son of Mattatha, which was the son of Nathan, which was the son of David, 32 Which was the son of Jesse, which was the son of Obed, which was the son of Booz, which was the son of Salmon, which was the son of Naasson, 33 Which was the son of Aminadab, which was the son of Aram, which was the son of Esrom, which was the son of Phares, which was the son of Juda, 34 Which was the son of Jacob, which was the son of Isaac, which was the son of Abraham, which was the son of Thara, which was the son of Nachor, 35 Which was the son of Saruch, which was the son of Ragau, which was the son of Phalec, which was the son of Heber, which was the son of Sala, 36 Which was the son of Cainan, which was the son of Arphaxad, which was the son of Sem (Shem), which was the son of Noe (Noah), which was the son of Lamech, 37 Which was the son of Mathusala, which was the son of Enoch, which was the son of Jared, which was the son of Maleleel, which was the son of Cainan, 38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.
I guess Adam (made on the 8th day [THE man]) was the first Jew, as opposed to gentile man (created on the 6th day).

It's simple. There are ONLY two ways to be a Jew. 1. You are born of a Jewish mother. Even an apostate is always a Jew. 2. You have properly converted according to authentic ("orthodox") Jewish law. Very uncomplicated.

Who is 100% a Jew when you look at generation of definition who is one.
We believe a Jew should be 100% Sematic with middle middle eastern look.
Today Jews have been changing in looks due to their history and intermarriage for years.
For example now we see Jews that have married other races and there with different DNA from there original ancestry.

To be chosen implies humility to be obedient, and imitate YHWH's qualities of Love, Justice, Wisdom, Truth, and the highest morals. Chosen to be like YHWH is not easy as we can see in the history of our ancestors as we can today. Not like the Ashkenazi who was at the Capital cussing, storming, looting, breaking,, etc. Whatever he was doing there, what was he chosen to do at that moment? I don't know either.

Revelations 2.9 and 3.9 are part of Revelations known as the *7 Letters to the 7 Churches* and were written to the Early Christian churches of Turkey, Smyrna and Philadelphia. The word synogogue means assembly, not an assembly of Jews. The passages have nothing to do with the Jews, especially modern Jews.
If addressed to a modern population, it would be addressed to the Black Africans that say they are Jews, but are not!!

Being "Jewish" is a choice but being an Israelite is by blood ONLY. Those we know today are Jewish cause they are all converts. They've even changed the way one is considered Jewish by making it through the mother's bloodline when TORAH SAYS IT'S THROUGH THE FATHER. He stated at the beginning that it ORIGINALLY was by bloodline only & that the stranger couldn't even utter the sacred name of HaShem. I wish they would start telling the TRUTH & all of the confusion would end.🤲🏾🕎

God told us this answer in,
    Romans 2: 2:28-29.
"For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; 29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God".
Jew, is not just a race as mankind is led to believe by the teaching ways of the world that Satan is the Governor of, as God stated to us in this teaching.
You can be a Russian, Japanese and follow God and be a Jew. For it is about following God aka being in Gods small flock.... not race alone.
The collection of obeying God of many races under the umbrella term of Jew/small flock.

  • @theexorcist8685
    @theexorcist8685 3 роки тому +1

No, a TRUE Jew is one whose HEART is right with GOD . And true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law; rather, it is a change of heart produced by the Spirit. And a person with a changed heart seeks praise from GOD, not from people.
    Romans 2:29

In agreement with Malik Bey, there was an article stating that the Ashkenazim were from Israel. But in the article it states that they could NOT find any Khazarians in the area. They had left just like the Thirteenth Tribe states. So, what did the scientist do? They took blood from the people in the area and NOT the Khazars or Khazarians. This falsehood was why 23andMe removed the statement that Ashkenazim originated in the Caucuses and is now using their haplogroup as part of people from the Levant. Did you read the Thirteenth Tribe? It is a very good book. It could be a movie. The Khazarians were great warriors and very intelligent people. Why the Ashkenazim (Germans not Hebrews) don't want to recognize themselves with this highly intelligent people is a mystery to me.

Actually Arthur Koestler explained in the book, "The 13th Tribe" that *IF he could prove the Jews were actually the descendants of The Khazars, that it wouId rid the world of anti-Semetism as of the Jews could be found to be Khazars they could not be found to be Semites and then would not have been responsible for the death of Jesus.*
The Jews are not the descendants of the Khazars as proven by history, archeology, linguistics, and science (DNA).
