The MDA Labor Day Telethon was an enchanting yearly variety show that ran for half a century. Hosted for many years by Jerry Lewis, the telethon featured top stars from the world of music, comedy, and Broadway and was like no other show on earth.
The telethon was created to help support the Muscular Dystrophy Association, which is leading the fight against muscular dystrophy. MDA dedicates itself to strength, independence and life. To learn more about MDA and to donate, please visit www.MDA.org.

Esta presentacion fue durante el Telemaraton de la Distrofia Muscular de Puerto Rico, donde Xuxa participo desde los studios TeLeFe en Argentina donde hace su show en español, e hizo la presentacion simultanea para Puerto Rico y Estados Unidos en el Jerry Lewis Telethon cantando en español. El Telemaraton de Puerto Rico fue transmitido simultáneamente por Telemundo y WAPA television
Ese no es el estudio de Telefe, ese es de Brasil en Rede Globo pues las dimensiones son un poco más grandes que el de Argentina, la escenografía tiene detalles distintos y el uniforme de las paquitas es el modelo original que solo utilizaron en brasil y las botas que ellas solían en Argentina era sobre la rodilla.
@@juancarlosalmontebatista7451 quiere decir que realizaba ambos programas en español en ambos estudios. Por eso ese detalle
@@jorgefigueroa4437si pero para ese año Xuxa aún no había llegado a Argentina sino al año siguiente (1991) tras el éxito de su primer LP en español.

She really is. I'm Dominican and in the early 90's when I visit Dominican republic I was 12 and I noticed ever little kid would go crazy over this song. "Ilarie, ilarie oh oh!" Jumping and all. Then my little cousin goes " you don't know what this?" Then starts explaining about xuxa while I'm processing this because I lived in America and we never heard of xuxa. Xuxa is seriously big in all Latin America. Honestly, I declared her as the queen of Latin America and Brazil now that I realize it now.
