Celebtion includes a parade downtown Boston on Saturday and his revisiting Bunker Hill on Sunday at 11:30am. Join us in thanking the Marquis de Lafayette
You also forgot to mention that GW consider Lafayette as a son . And that he gave the state’s militia their name of The National Guard like what they had in France.

One of eight honorary American citizens, bestowed in 2002. WELL DESERVED. He was unique soul and an important player in America independence.

As late as 1830, he was helping to start the July Revolution that ended the Bourbon Restoration!
