A growing number of MPs want him to heed the calls to step down. But the prime minister isn’t revealing what he’ll do even as more rank-and-file members say it’s obvious. Trudeau did not speak publicly on Friday and has largely stayed out of view since the stunning resignation of former finance minister Chrystia Freeland. Touria Izri has the latest.

From what I see gasoline is cheap in this country, meaning the carbon tax isn't high enough. It should be quadrupled. I'll know the price of gasoline has hit the proper price level when I start seeing people doing the speed limits and not 20 to 30 kms over.
Also, we will pay one way or the other. Either it is pay a carbon tax or pay higher insurance premiums for protection against the effects of extreme weather events, not to mention higher costs to fight increasingly destructive wildfires, floods and coastal dikes to protect coastal cities from rising sea levels.

Mr. Poilievre, I will support you if you could 1) have more people with PHD degrees in your team, making your team highly educated and make sure they really love Canada, 2) reduce income tax rate for middle-class families so that they can increase their demand for Canada-made products to boost Canada's economy, 3) do a good job to control over immigration, we do not need and want more and more baggers, 4) make government offices more efficient, 5) promote innovation in all fields, 6) reduce some academic research funds because they are quite a waste of taxpayers' money especially SSHRC, and 7) increase the quality of teachers in high schools as high schools are the most important stage to shape kids for their future, 8) make government social programs really work for people who truly need them, 9) stop paying social benefits to people who never paid income tax in Canada, and 10) create Canada-wide medical information sharing system for doctors in all provinces.
