I love your videos! I'm 24yrs old in Colorado and you inspired me to finally get my hunters ed certificate today. The game warden showed us how to skin a bobcat today also! Thanks for getting me into hunting! Can't wait to start with small game and work my way up.

Summer of 62 I was in Maine. We visited a fish house the sold frozen flounder fillets. They brought in a catch. There was a conveyer belt. They'd grab a fish and in two moves take of a filet and flip it over and back on the belly someone else would remove the other filet. All that was left was basically the bones and head and tail. Amazing skills.

Looked like a awesome time! Maybe next time you go out with Rick have him do a walk around the boat. The air motor and the box for removing the fish looked interesting to see. His gigs were cool too, being screws made sense.

Great video and great fish, but the boat takes the show. Nice work as well as great layout for gigging. I could use that for "last ice" perch fishing. We take a boat to the back bays then tip toe onto widow maker ice. Jumbo perch limits. Fished South Padre this Feb got a few pomps on the beach and some really nice trout and reds in the Brownsville Shipping Channel. Great fishing, great people and can't wait for next year.

That works well with chicken too, but you need to add some parmesan cheese. Instead, melt 1/2 the butter in a measuring cup and pour it over top the chicken, before covering it up with the ritz and parmesan! My favorite way to eat flounders, stuffed with blue crab, I live in MD, and we use a spice called Old Bay or J.O spice.

I've lived in Corpus all my life and have eaten plenty of flounder. Its one of the best tasting fish ever! we used to go floundering when we were kids. its an absolute blast. you don't need a boat in some areas. If you visit corpus one of the best places to go flounder gigging is indian pointe.

Old school gigging we use one point pole and pull a battery and light behind you as you walk in the water not ride in a boat . So you get a better experience when you don’t see the fish and you step on it and you end up in the water lots of fun you should try it

Next time try this out. In a mixing bowl add your crushed Ritz, melted butter, cracked black pepper lemon juice and some white wine(actual wine...not cooking wine) mix it up to taste. Shouldn't need any salt due to the Ritz and butter. It my recipe I've used for a long time. Got a killer recipe for seafood stuffing too!

THE NIGHT STALKER is definitely the best in the game 🔥

Neat video. Very cool to see.
The guide must see a lot of flounder, as that is a lot of waste on the fillet. Doing it with a sharp knife doesn't take much longer, and you probably will save 20% more meat, from the looks of it, but you never know. Maybe the video made it look like more waste than it really was.
But thanks to you and the others for posting the video!
