Someone tried to "repair" this problem on this E82, but even as simple as it was, failed miserably...
So, no, I have not undone it and repair it correctly, I have just fixed what was already done and left it...
Mainly posting this video to show you what was wrong with this, as I mentioned it on the initial video....

So long as the SRS works as intended, then a reasonable fix. I would prefer the proper fix! I hope the owner signed something that he called the shots!

@@LMAutoRepairs Yes, I watched the video in full. You are in a chain of people that worked on the car! At least this video documents you received the car with the alterations, and gave the owner the choice of a simple cheap fix or the more expensive proper fix. Make sure you keep all your videos, and keep stating the 'customer' chose not to do the 'proper' for whatever reason. You even gone the extra mile and did the proper fix and I remember when the amount of times you found dodgy things, like covered warning lights on instrument displays hiding faults. Keep up the good work. 👍🏾

Good morning Luis the owner bit short sighted. think of the cost to replace all airbags and parts damaged by airbags to cost of doing job right thousands instead of a hundred if that. how do them mods affect the insurance. keep up the good work
Hi l seen your video on rebuilding vw dsg 7 speed mechatronics. I have a 2011 golf with a dsg 7 speed and when you put it in reverse it grinds like it's not engaging the gears properly like a maunual gearbox would with a worn clutch. It seam to go through all the forwards gears no problems. Do you think it needs the mechatronics rebuilt or is it inside the gearbox. I know it's hard to say without looking at it but would you have any ideas, any advise would be apreciated as I'm in Australia thank you

The DSG 7 is essentially a manual box...
But I would check live data first, scan the car for codes etc...
A worn clutch can give you that sort of issue...

Just want to ask by repairing and moving wires can you deploy the airbag by accident .
Disconnect the battery to eliminate any risks...

Hi mate. Off topic for this video, but I’ve just watched you fix the corsa D 1.2 not starting from around 4 years ago.
Where do you get OP-com from? I’ve seen some on eBay for £30, then people from forums saying those are not legit & damage vehicles. You fixed yours so I see it doesn’t cause damage.
