You probably want to let the cords hang loose. I hung a simple garage cover on and had grommets secured top & bottom but when garage door open put tension on grommets damaging them
Pro tip-- I installed mine by using vinyl siding channel, the lights are double sided taped in the channel, then the channel attaches to the garage door via rare earth magnets. Magnets sandwich the vinyl channel against the garage door. Also, the bottom of the strings are held in place via an open cable loop with a magnet on it for windy days. When opening and closing the lights can move through the loop up n down. It’s an easy on easy off set up as I don’t leave them on all year.
The bottom clips come with the lights. Link fixed. Thanks!!! 🙏 Can you confirm the link works now? geni.us/GoveeCurtainLightsTWO (Amazon Affiliate Link) As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

If you have 3 sets of the curtain lights 2 , side by side by side..can all 3 link up to work synchronized together like in the video with the 14 ft model ??
The version 2 of the lights includes this as one of the 200 scenes! This is the one I have: geni.us/GoveeCurtainLightsTWO (Amazon Affiliate Link) As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
@@JonWheeler3and88this thing is badass. There's a button in the app where people share their creations. Hit the button and you automatically can use it. Pretty cool
I loved your video. Got me through my oops installation. I too love your closing Merry Christmas display and would love to use it. Any help in finding it would be greatly appreciated!
Not a goNot a good way to mount. It is permanent adhesive, so difficult to take up and down and will damage paint on removal. I would recoment watching videos of people who use better techniques like diffuser tracks and command velcro strips. I've been doing it that way for years to make it modular.

yeah, this is true, I ended up leaving them hanging freely, thanks so much for the information!

The rare earth magnet is a smart approach! I think I will be keeping mine, year round :). Let's see what the HOA say!
Awesome job looks great! I’m getting ready to install mine and will use your video as a guide. Thanks!
Have fun!!! It is fairly easy, just take your time.
Looks awesome! Thanks for the video
Thanks for watching and leaving such a positive comment! Happy Holidays!
Thanks for sharing, great review video
Thanks!!!! 🙏
Hey, looks amazing 🤩 Please do me a favour, could you please measure the plastic hooks dimensions (with, height, thickness)... Thanks
Thank you for this vid gonna install next week
Have fun!!! Enjoy!
I messed up and bought three curtains individually because certain places were sold out, don't know if I'm able to do this?
You *should* be able to sync them together. But check with Govee to be sure.
Same. And I can't figure it out I don't think it's possible. I may have to return all three then just wait for the 14 ft single to come out
Just depends on the model.
1st gen you can connect 3 light curtains and sync together , 2nd gen you can’t.
Awesome job! Where did you get the bottom clips/spacers? Also your Amazon links don’t work.
