I make something like this but I use Boneless Skinless Thighs cut into bite size pieces, and my family LOVES Ginger, so I add a lot whole lot more, and I always have some frozen Wontons in the freezer just for those "I don't have a plan" Dinners. Tortellini or small Ravioli also works in this in a pinch, Ricotta and Spinach and/or the Mushroom were very good, the Butternut was "different" because they have a sweet taste and it kind of clashed the Ginger and Onions, but everybody ate it with no complaints (other than my own) and I had no leftovers.
I’m going to make this today and I have a head of Napa cabbage that needs cooked soon. Could I add that to this soup instead of the spinach or along with the spinach? 😊
A video on homemade wontons and homemade wrappers would be great!
Wrappers are very hard and takes patience. Save time and buy them so you can make sooo many more for the freezer.

using water and not alot of ingrediants it must be very watery flavour. i would of used stock most likely chicken to keep the broth clean looking.
