The Next Generation Tank is Coming

Now, General Dynamics is trying to build upon these innovations with yet another, even more advanced, Abrams X variant. As a demonstrator unveiled at the 2022 Association of the United States Army Annual Symposium revealed, the AbramsX’s new innovations are expected to greatly improve the heavily armored platform’s tactical effectiveness.

The M1A2 Abrams is a beautiful tank, I want it to remain operational for many more decades, and never need to be replaced by the Abramsx. And I want it upgraded from M1A2 to M1A3 Abrams!

Oh an electric Abrams. What will it plug into? It will be towed by a regular Abrams to a recharge station.

It’s clearly a hybrid so it doesn’t plug into anything…lol. Ferdinand Porsche’s early version of the Tiger tank was also powered by two electric motors. I don’t think they had charging stations to plug into in 1944
