She gave every ounce of strength she had in every single performance.I always felt during her time that she just wanted to be loved and it's sad to me she passed away seemingly without that happening
Was Janis raised in the Black church, because Lord Above, she's channeling something not White in her performance. Soul, gospel, blues, funk, pouring out of her!!!!
Amazing performance, love your reaction, you know sadly it brought to my mind that old saying unfortunately that the Good die young, Elvis, John Lennon, Michael J, Jimmy Hendrix Janis and many others, they probably having a big concert/party up there in heaven!
React to Summertime live by Janis Joplin you can find some rare footage of Janis Joplin being interviewed play Dick Cavett and also doing live music on the Dick Cavett Show from the 60s on UA-cam
Ah yeah. I didn't stop this video once. I got drawn into it with ya haha Man, this concert is all I need to show to someone when they ask why I say Janis is my #1 all-time vocalist. This was a superb and sublime performance by Janis and her bandmates. Especially the "Maybe" performance
As it turns out, UA-cam released this reaction video to the general public, so now you get to hear more from me😮 You must already know that I absolutely LOVE Janice! I've seen all of her videos and documentaries.. Such a sad story about her death. So full of life, but also a troubled soul. It appeared as though her overdose was accidental; she was in the middle of recording her posthumously released album, Pearl. Funny thing about the time period. Jimi Hendrix overdosed just 12 days before my 10th birthday and Janice died 4 days after. I cried. A lot. And then Jim Morrison overdosed two years later, which is when I believe "the 27 club "started to take shape. Not sure if you're familiar with the term, but they all died at age 27. The legendary Robert Johnson also died at 27, as well as Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse. Anyhow, you can can react to any Janis Joplin video and I don't think you'll be disappointed. Rock on!
You are the best at doing reactions to all videos I really mean better than any others on UA-cam because you don’t pause the video you actually feel the songs with all your soul and the greatest emotional reactions singing along and swaying and facial expression it makes for a wonderful experience this is what makes you the best and never stop. Thank you for being you
My absolute favorite of her's is "Get It While You Can" on the Dick Cavett Show. If you like a performer giving her all, this is it! ua-cam.com/video/_5VsZE8E7s8/v-deo.html

I loved when she did this song with Tom Jones on his UK show. He tried to keep up with her but she stole the song!
Very groovy of you to react to more Janis! ❤
