Cause they play in the big 12. It’s easily the toughest conference. They don’t have a bama like the sec or an OSU like the big 10 but other than Kansas anyone can beat anyone. Even Kansas destroys bottom tier p5 opponents. Look at their stomping of Rutgers and BC a few years ago.
Texas Tech's guys are huge. Especially at TE and OL.. one of those TEs is 6'8". You are tight they have a size advantage on most teams. but they still only managed to be 6-6 before this game.
