I remember the days when I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh as a kid, I had a lot of fun playing the Dark World archetype because I love the feeling of overwhelming my opponent by discarding my own cards. Seeing it coming in LoR makes me really happy. I'm gonna have lots of fun experimenting with this archetype.

@@heroawesomereal For Discard fans, they won pretty big in this set. If the meta favors midrange, then they can play Sion Discard Mid-range. If the meta favors aggro instead, then they can go back to Jinx Discard Aggro.
Jinx’s deck likes having lots of little units to swarm with and to keep getting rockets… sion’s deck will prob be more mid range oriented with bigger overwhelm units. So they’ll not be in competition
I understand that Sion and Jinx play at different speeds ( aggro and midrange ) but you could play discard aggro with Draven and Sion or some of Sion's support cards like the 1 drop that are smork-y and aggro-y . Or discard midrange could just be a better version of discard aggro. Probably not enough to "replace" jinx i guess but still.
a bit late but some tricks in watching yt vids for you Miguel: Spacebar for pause arrow key right 5 sec forward/left backwards arrow key up 5 volume up/down 5 volume down dot is one frame forwards comma is one frame backwards J and L have the same use as the arrow keys but 10 sec and k can pause as well double click the video for full screen/"normal" screen There are probably alot more but these are all that come to my mind rn. I dont use all myself but some, hope you enjoy them same as I do your videos :)

Not gonna lie, I was super eh upon first seeing Sion. The talk of Discard Midrange and your energy as a hype man knows no bounds. Thanks for selling me on this Champion. Still probably gonna play Senna/Lux or Ezreal/Veigar week one though.
Sion is such a mechanically fantastic champion. It's simultaneously not at all what i was expecting but makes complete sense and i love it. Discard/Overwhelm synergies really fit him lore-wise. So far, i want to try every deck this expansion has shown off. First time this has happened. Love it.

Even with all the soldiers hacking and slashing at him he refused to die until he saw the life leave Jarvan's eyes. Decades later the Black Rose (LeBlanc and Vladamir's organization) brought him back to life using blood magic to use as a weapon. Unfortunately the blood magic has driven Sion insane and the only thing he cares about is killing, doesn't matter if they are friend or foe. Also his jaw is made out of Jarvan 1st's crown.
Question for magwoai, throwback to twisted fate casino deck, since the skill ceiling has been lowered a bit with more discard cards and harder to mess up. Will you be making a discard midrange with bilgewater deck, and noxus new cards with tf or jinx, also *NOXUS,NOXUS,NOXUS YEAAAA*
Amazing is an understatement! Sion is just sooo good visually and so is his lore. They nailed his design and the new Noxus cards are amazing! I can’t wait to see Urgot in the future and make a big chungus Sion/Urgot deck.

For people who don't play LoL, Sion has exactly the same last breath effect, he instantly revive and do big damage to people next to him with his auto attacks but only during few seconds because he loose health very fast during it. I like when they find the perfect design to make LoR champions like LoL.
Shout-out to Mogwai and Panda who make the seasonal super entertaining (and awkward). I'm so excited to try mixing Sion with Swain. No but seriously I can imagine him changing discard Aggro into discard midrange this expansion is crazy
This is their best design for this set yet. It both fits perfectly into this game while perfectly translating the LoL character, most of the champions they revealed this set haven't felt like their league counterparts. this one does in spades.
I love how Irelia is hated in league of legends but Sion is loved in that game thanks to a popular streamer. Also in the Sion art you can see Radiant Guardian and in the second art you can see Sion smashing her head and her weapon stuck in his body. One last thing Sion was a warrior that served noxus and fought against Jar a the first. With his last breathes he took the kind and suffocated him and now he wears his crown around the neck. (Sion is very old but he got revived as a zombie)

Yep.Spellshield stops every spell and skill.Just cant stop the effects like "grant an enemy vulnerable".
