Remember, the difference between intelligence and wisdom is simple and I will use a tomato as an example. Intelligence is the ability to know that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is the ability to know that a tomato doesn't go in a fruit salad. Marcille would definitely put a tomato in a fruit salad.

Once every year we get an English dub for a seasonal anime that can actively keep pace with the original actors. Very nice indeed. Why do I feel like it's usually the comedy dubs? I remember thinking that the Konosuba dub did a great job translating the humor (cough cough, take notes Kaguya-sama dub) and the actors didn't try too hard to imitate the original performances and did their own thing with the material which made it funnier than just a translated emulation of the same jokes. Before that we also got the dub of Monthly Girl's Nozaki-kun which, to this day, sits atop my list for shows where I actually recommend people watch it dubbed rather than subbed. Sure there are comedy dub failures as well (plenty of them actually) and the occasional drama also gets it right (Attack on Titan anyone?) but given how difficult it is to do comedy right, I think it's impressive that their quota feels so much more accurate, even if it's statistically not necessarily the case.
2:04 Altmer Marceille will never NOT be funny to me, even sounds like a stereotypical Altmer too(eg. Arrogant, haughty etc.). I wonder if the creator played "Elder Scrolls".
She's not gay and saying so is disingenuous to the story cause it disappoints people with false assumption. Dungeon Meshi isn't a romance . Its a story about learning to accept death and enjoy life.

Marcille is proof there is a difference between intelligence and wisdom.
Intelligence 100 Wisdom -1000
Also the reason Perception and Insight are Wisdom skill checks.
