A thing I find the most quirky about him is when he immediately dips whenever he wants. Just a simple “gotta go!” “Goodbye” or in the middle of a conversation. It’s so rude. I love it.
my favourite thing about him is how he doesn't call any of the Belcher family by their names except Bob. they're all "burger babies", "lady bob", "belcher child" 😂
That's what I love the most. When I didn't know anything about Bob's Burgers, I thought he was a villain or an antagonist. I love that he's so rich and rude but in the most mundane way posible

Like, it's SO hard to like a landlord in any capacity but Calvin manages to at least be a decent person to the Belchers. He doesn't charge them extra for their frequently late rent, he gives them a lot of opportunities for free months, and it seemed like he actually would have been willing to sit down and listen to Bob if he'd came to talk to him about the rent hike.

@@ChristopherSobieniakWomen were never denied the right to leaen swimming. Tbh the idea of women having been all that oppressed does not hold up to critical thinking. It could also be argued that women were only "liberated" to become wage slaves in industrial society, and it was planned imo to make it impossible for most families to get by on one source of income, therefore making it more difficult to raise kids. You should watch the show! Mr. Fischoeder is not in every episode, but whenever him or his brother (Felix) shows up, YOU know the episode is gonna be good.
In the real world Fischoeder would have been arrested multiple times. In Family Guy he would have started out like this before becoming an iredeemable monster/pervert further down the line. But here he remains gleefully cheerful and able to get off the hook largely by leaving the room at the right time. There's a great bit in the new series where he's managed to get baked on mushrooms and is trying to fight the clouds.
