Denny's is favorite breakfast chain. I have never had bad experience at one. They earned my loyalty when i was 18 and i was homeless, i coundt afford anything other than coffee and was there at 2am. One of the servers had a extra plate of pancakes and gave it to me. Been a loyal customer eversince.

Reminds me of a time I was wandering a new town looking for a Doobie for a few bucks that my mom gave me, I asked the first person I saw who happened to be in a similar situation to you, but close to a subway. He was chillin in the parking lot smoking a cigarette so I asked where to get pot. He said honestly he doesn't know and he's hitching his way somewhere and is just resting up, all sore and tired.
He got some kinda loaded sub, combo and I didn't smoke a puff that weekend and I learned as a 14 year old what it meant to be a human being. Spent a few years homeless and always thought of him and wish everyday he does well.
I hope you're the king of your jungle, my friend.

My grandma was a waitress at Denny's in Wichita for many years. She once talked a robber out of the burglary while it was happening. The cook later made the man return after he'd served his sentence to meet her and apologize. She was such a personality, and I miss her dearly.

'The observation that “La Quinta is Spanish for ‘next to Denny’s'” is a joke made famous by the late comedian Mitch Hedberg. Last year, John Reiser, on his new jersey geographer blog, wrote up an analysis of this joke using data scraped from the respective websites of Denny’s (a diner chain) and La Quinta Inns and Suites (a hotel chain). We have used Reiser’s work as inspiration for developing a team-based homework assignment in both our undergraduate- and master’s-level statistical computing courses at Duke University.'

Every time I've been to any Denny's in North Dakota, it was with my elderly parents, or I've seen a table full of retired women out for their Book Club night at Denny's, or retired people out for their Friday dinner at Denny's. My hometown used to have 3 Denny's. Sadly, 2 of those have now closed within the last couple of years. There is still one open, so there's that. It was definitely a good place to go if one member of the group wants breakfast but not all od the.

As someone who once had a car problems at 5 am in the morning on a road trip. And end up in a middle of no where with a Danny's near by. My only high lighting of that trip. And the staff at that one was so nice the decors were old fashioned country live vibe. Good memories may they last forever !

I'll never forget the one I went to all the time had a huge 'cup of coffee' welcome mat when you walked in the door.

I always liked Denny's. There's none around here, but whenever I'd travel with the family we'd always go to one wherever they were cause they were always open and we knew the food would be good. The one that used to be here probably shut down cause the night staff absolutely didn't care about customers at all. The one time I went, it took almost an hour to get an order of fries and the dude who ordered pancakes had several bites taken out of them before they were served. But yeah, it's nice when places are always open so you know any time you can't sleep and are hungry or just wanna be around people, there's a place you can go where you won't be alone.

So, it’s nice to know those Hobbit movies provided some good results for someone.

The Denny's in Louisville Kentucky needs help. The last time we were there we ended up walking out after being there for 30 minutes with no one even coming to the table after we were seated. The place was empty too.

Only ate at Denny's one time. The food was cold. At least it wasn't undercooked. I am personally hoping Weird History will cover the sad downfall of Burger Chef and Howard Johnson's, two pioneers of fast food that had the most unfair fates ever. Mcdonald's even straight up stole the Happy Meal from Burger Chef!

Denny's got a special place in my heart, me and my best friends went to one at 3 in the morning when we were in our early 20's tripping balls on some L and our server was a cute slender blonde with long pronounced vampire canine teeth. When we left we saw a purple car with a license plate that said vampirella which I can only assume was hers. It was an awesome time, I ate a Dagwood.

The flavors can't be beat with Denny's. I've always liked their hot cakes better than IHOP.

No, all of the Denny's here in the Colorado Springs area (as shown in the video) were operated by one guy that didn't pay his State and payroll taxes, so the Colorado IRS walked into them in the middle of dinner service and shut them all down, seizing them all. No warning, diners had to get their meals that they were eating to go and the employees were made to shut everything down, clock out and leave the premises. This was almost 10 years ago and had absolutely nothing to do with the pandemic, and they have yet to re open. One was demolished and now there's a car wash, another is sitting vacant, Bijou Dennys, the icon of our youth in the 70s and 80s, has been vandalized by vagrants and is boarded up and a fourth in Woodland Park was converted to another restaurant. Now, if I want my Super Bird fix, I have to go to Denver, some 65 miles away to the closest one.

I don't think I've eaten at a Denny's since the mid-1990s after the time it took 30 minutes for someone to take our order, and over an hour to get one refill on our drinks. And my party was four out of the six customers in the store at 3PM. There's a reason all three of their locations nearest me closed out and never re-opened.

My first and only time at Denny's was when I had just returned from the UK. At the time obesity wasn't as big of a problem in the UK (or maybe I just didn't notice). I remember being shocked by how many obese people there were at the restaurant.
