Ms. Maiden, Myth to your friends😊… this video is… perfect! I have been trying to find just such a video about narrative structure for a group of my students in Grade 9- Freshmen, first year High Schoolers in USA. (Excuse me if 9th Grade is obvious to you! I know nothing about your citizenship, though your accent sounds like mine from Maryland.) Regardless, as said, perfect video! The specifics about the spirits, Dickens’ direct yet deep depictions, and the psychological sides of Scrooge - wow, it is enlightening and engaging without being too easy… Thank you so much! I hope to see more of your videos and use them to help all my students grow in their Narrative Writing abilities! “God bless us, everyone”… but especially you and yours this Christmas!🎄🤓🎄🥳🎄
My independent research, conducted for the past 14 years, suggests that Charles Dickens wasn't the original author. Where you see spiritual or psychological depths in this story, they didn't come from him--he was a crass, worldly man, and in my opinion a flaming hypocrite. (Don't take my word for it--read what's been coming out about him the last couple of decades.) These elements came from the original authors, American couple Mathew and Abby Whittier.
Very nice walkthrough of all the different Christmas Carols. I didn't realize how beautifully written the story was.
Another fabulous analysis 😊 Enjoyed it tremendously !
Wonderful analysis as always!!

Yay!
Can you say SCROOGE backwards? Its the real point of the story!
EGO OR CS - yes… I choose “CS”, i.e., Christmas Spirit!
🤣🎄😏
