Kong doesn't give up, but if Godzilla wanted to kill him, he could have. Like he did in round one. When they both fight MechaG, Godzilla realises that Kong isn't really an enemy the way the MUTOs or Gidorah was.

I just absolutely love that they animated Godzilla laughing. It's a riot. 2021 was an awful year for movies in general. It was right off the back of the pandemic with very low theatre attendance and people just not paying attention to movies and/or movies not being released or being quietly released because they just accepted they weren't going to make good revenue
Never been this early in Badd Medicine which is funny since I'm binge-watching your awesome Harry Potter reactions while waiting for this one and it's finally here. What a blast! Can't wait for you guys to witness the future of the Monsterverse!
I love how Godzilla is just done with everyone’s shit. He’s clearly intelligent enough to try and communicate with Kong to back down, but is just too angry with this whole situation. He clearly respects Kong, nodding to him before leaving him to die, but that won’t stop him but doing what he needs to do. He gets so angry he starts crawling on all fours like’s he’s gone feral
They gave us exactly what we wanted, big CGI monster fights. Also really funny they got a reference from the original KvG where Kong shoved a tree down Godzillas mouth (axe this time). And I did enjoy the thought experiment of no gravity in a hollow planet, because you would be pulled from all sides by roughly equal mass/gravity.
Been waiting for this reaction this movie was sick. They have been building up to this fight since Skull island as well as every Kaiju fan been wanting a rematch between these two since way back. This movie delivered on the fights, gave us a definitive winner.
Watching you guys watch this was brilliant. I think you severely underrated the final result. You guys were absolutely entertained to death. What a fantastic movie. The battleship fight alone was worth a 4.9 out of 5 answers
If you haven't seen it yet, Shin Godzilla is worth a watch. It focuses more on humanity than most movies do, but when you understand that it's a takedown of slow Japanese government repsonse to disasters, it makes more sense. Also, Shin Godzilla is horrifying.
This movie is great and it knows what it needs to be action, monsters, destruction, the humans were shown enough to know what they’re purpose was, and showing a bit more of kongs role in this universe. Mecha Godzilla was icing on the cake another iconic enemy of Godzilla who knows Godzilla every strength and weakness making it able to counter every move he makes. So glad you guys enjoyed it. The reason Godzilla hates kong so much is not only because of them both being alphas but also the war they briefly mentioned was a war between the kongs and godzillas the kongs were becoming huge in numbers, they were ruling over the hollow earth, using parts of other titans for weapons that’s why that axe looks like Godzilla back plates that was one of his family members nothing makes Godzilla more angry than that it’s the ultimate insult to him. Also centuries ago when Godzilla was younger he fought another king who was an ancestor and it was a draw and Godzilla doesn’t like it when something else is able to challenge so in a way it’s a mix of personal history with ancient history. The next film will go into both of these monsters history a bit more. You guys are greatest one of my favorite reaction channels.👏😁👍🎥😎
Kong is 104 meters not feet, so about 340 ft tall. He was 100 ft in Skull Island. In Godzilla(2014) G was 108 meters or 354 ft tall. In, King Of The Monsters, Godzilla grew to 120 meters or 394 ft tall after takin the nuke in his lair. There was no after credit scene because Legendary's deal with Toho ended with GvK. However, they reached a new deal and now we are getting a series on Apple tv that takes place after G 2014 and before KOTM. Also we're getting the 5th movie in the Monsterverse Godzilla x Kong The New Empire. Godzilla's side suffered after they cut alot out of the movie and did reshoots. So Kyle Chandler's character and Ken Wantanabe's character's son ended up bein little more than cameo's.
I remember the internet getting excited for this movie like it was a big boxing match coming up. It was fun going back and forth with Kong fans saying who would win but there's a reason why Eminem named a song after Godzilla. Just saying lol
The instant they showed Ghidorahs head, It was obvious why Godzilla was so pissed. The worst thing, each head of Ghidorah was a bit different, and if we are correct, the skull was from the dummy or more pacific one, it was the most curious head usually called "Kevin", while the center one was the leader, checking the other 2 and the last one was the most vicious. I think the apex facility being unsupervised, was a diversion, not an impotant thing for the plot.
The King Ghidorah heads were able to communicate to each other using telepathy. I think they mention it in the movies, but since the next are so long on that alien creature, they would have to telepathically communicate with each other. And so I think it's like a ghost situation where the ghost of Ghidorah was still in one of the skulls and then it transferred to the skull that they built mechagodzilla around
Okay you guys DEFINITELY get extra points for not only recognizing mechgodzilla but also figuring out that Ghidorah came back to get his vengeance! I think what makes it better is that it was Kevin aka the "nice" head of Ghidorah that was always getting bullied in the last movie. Since Ghidorah is the joker to Godzilla's batman I really hope we see monster zero return.
People who love Gojira and Kong will love almost any movie that gets us closer to them. I used to watch the old ones too as I'm a massive Godzilla fan. This one, however, made me feel almost as sad as Peter Jackson's movie. Listen, I ugly cried in that one and couldn't even watch! I also recommend that one if you gentlemen want to check out a more classic take.
I love how Kong has a beard. Also Kong didnt submit to Zilla when Zilla was on top of Kong. Zilla let him go because he probably knew that Kong was dying.
Godzilla established himself as the Alpha to Kong at the end of their fight, just as he did after their fight with mechagodzilla. Which is why he left peacefully
for anyone wondering why no Post-Credit scene was in here: the license with Toho was scheduled to run out after this one. As Toho had put off any own continuation of Godzilla until the end of the LMU they didn't prolong the license for quite a while, so when this movie finished production they were just not sure if they would do another Godzilla I think.
The real reason there was no post credit scene was because Adam was unsure of this was going to be the last MV film or not so he left the ending open in case sequels come afterwards. That had nothing to do with the license. Legendary already announced in 2019 (before kotm came out) that if kotm or gvk do well they'll continue the MV.
@@Kaiju-bm4ts it was not their decision though. Ultimately, Toho had to sign off on that extension and I think officially the news was released in 2020 that they actually extended it. Also you only know if gvk does well, AFTER the movie is out so past the moment where you have to create the scene ;) But bascially we arrive at the same conclusion of: there is no post credit scene because the future of the franchise was unsure.
My understanding is that it was that life-giving energy from the Hollow Earth that revived/rekindled Ghidora's personality, to be able to take over Mechagodzilla, which seems as plausible a reason for it to go berserk as any.
So to explain the mechanics behind Mechagodzilla and Ghidorah's remaining head its like this: In KotM each of Ghidorah's heads has a unique personality and operate with a degree of autonomy. They telepathically coordinate with each other when they are fighting. Apex put the brain of the severed Ghidorah head into the Mechagodzilla and used the link set-up inside the skull at their HQ to communicate with and control it. When the Core Energy is infused into the system it allows the dormant Ghidorah head's personality to reassert itself and take control.
funfact. the fanbase calls the remaining head of ghidora 'kevin". he's seen to be partially more, innocent and playful than the other heads. which would explain why he's so vengeful and angry when he gained his new body.
people are disrespecting Kong to much, he's just a big monke with a axe meanwhile Godzilla is a big lizard with ATOMIC BREATH. Kong doesn't deserve the hate
I avoided all trailers and teasers for this. At the back of my mind I had the faintest hope they would dare, even in a big budget Hollywood movie, go for something as "campy" as Mechagodzilla or Mechagidorah or something, but I never thought they actually would and I figured they'd just get some other monster for 'zilla and Kong to team up. And yet they did go for Mechagodzilla, and I was so happy they embraced it and went for it when I saw this in theaters. Someone over there at Legendary really knew what they were doing when they bought the Godzilla rights.
I loved this movie. I watched the old 60s film before this and recognized some easter eggs. But this is such a great time in movies. We got so many great fandom battles on the big screen. •Trex vs indominus rex •veloceraptor vs indoraptor •Marvel Civil war, infinity war, endgame battle •Batman vs superman •Sonic vs knuckles •Godzilla vs ghidorah and kong So much great moments.
36:28, no. When G was stepping on Kong he was basically telling him, "Beg for your life and entertain me, and MAYBE I won't kill you." And then Kong told him, "Eather hurry up and kill me, or shut up and get off!". That's why G backed off, becouse Kong put his money were his mouth was and didn't back down. He had already established who was on top by that point, so he chose to back off out of respect for the young blood.
Wingard did Toho dirty. Toho has strict rules for the use of Godzilla and one of them is that he doesn't emote/show emotion. Wingard violated that rule during the final battle.
Eh, who really cares. Plus, saying Godzilla doesn’t show emotion is like saying the sun isn’t bright. Other than Kong, he’s by far the most expressive of any of the titans, and people haven’t really complained about that.
I mean Americans have done worse with Godzilla. Let's just be happy that they didn't turn Godzilla into a radioactive iguana that runs from the military, gets tangled in the Brooklyn Bridge and gets killed by missiles
I personally give this one a 5. It mixed a few movies of the old ones together, and changed how MekaGodzilla works, but even still, it was just to much fun!
I just discovered this channel a few days ago and i already watched all HP and THG. Fantastic beasts and some scary movies from your videos and i just love how much Oak got into harry potter. Fav man❤
What always makes me laugh is "we're making him think that he's won." Miss, Kong nearly drowned. Your fleet was destroyed. If Godzilla defided to swim back and attack instead of of turning away, Kong, and everyone else is dead. You didnt play dead, you asked for mercy lol
Thank you all for the reviews love them . Kong at the time during kong skull island he was young 104 feet. he grew to almost as tall as Godzilla in kong vs godzilla , Godzilla is 393 feet . They’re huge lol 😂.
Did y'all hear Ghidorah's screech when they tried to power Mechagodzilla up with energy from hollow earth? I personally like to think that once Ghidorah took over and saw Godzilla, it was "Round two b*tch!".
Ghidorah sure got his revenge big time. Godzilla got his ass beat and would have been toast if Kong didn’t intervene. This was my most favorite movie of the monsterverse. 😍❤
Funny to say that even tho it's a well known established fact by the directors themselves mentioning how Godzilla would have beaten this Mecha easily if he wasn't exhausted from fighting Kong and using up his energy multiple times especially drilling into the earth. Even so Ghidora revenge turned into full shame when it got it's ass kicked by both titans into oblivion.
This was the first movie I saw after the pandemic started and boy did it deliver a match up that hasn't happened since 1962. Heres a fun fact, when Ghidorah takes over Mechagodzilla you can hear his shriek as he's getting powered up. I'm excited for the future of the Monsterverse whether they have original ideas or plan to use more Toho kaiju or both. Btw if you want more kaiju fun I highly recommend Pacific Rim (just the first one)
You all NEED to watch Shin Godzilla and Godzilla Minus One. The newest japanese Godzillas One is pure horror And the other is some of the best wirtten human characters in godzilla ever
In the original stop motion King Kong vs Godzilla, there is a moment where Kong shoves a tree down Godzilla's throat. So a meme that came out right before the movie did, was Godzilla having chased Kong up a building with Godzilla holding a tree.
And we've now had all members of Toho's Big 5 (Godzilal, Mothra, Rodan, Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla) in an American movie. But we've still yet to have all five appear in the same movie lol.
You guys should check out Monarch: Legacy of Monsters with Kurt Russell and his son Wyatt playing the same character at different time periods. It’s set in the same universe as these movies and explores Monarch, its founding, and the legacy that Kurt and Wyatt’s character is a part of leaving behind.
Godzilla won the fight, but Kong didn’t submit. He refused to back down when Godzilla had him dead to rights, and Godzilla respected that while knowing that he’d shown who was boss, so he let Kong go. Godzilla doesn’t necessarily fight every opponent to the death so long as they submit to his authority; Kong however ALWAYS attacks with lethal intent. He didn’t care about taking Godzilla’s position as top alpha; he went into that second fight with the intention to murder Godzilla, nothing more or less. King’s height in the stats was his height in Kong: Skull Island. Kong has grown three times that size since the time that film took place, so he’s more like 350 feet, although there were a lot of discrepancies with his size in this film so that he could interact with humans better, and the director acknowledges that. Ren Serizawa is the son of Ken Watanabe’s character from the previous movies, but they don’t mention it. He hates Godzilla because his father obsessed over him his whole life and didn’t give Ren proper attention. In the novel for this film, REN’s hatred of Godzilla combined with Ghidorah’s in that skull, and in turn combined with the AI that was programmed into Mechagodzilla to fight and kill Godzilla; so Mechagodzilla wasn’t just piloted by Ghidorah, but by a new intelligence rising from all 3 sources that wanted to kill Godzilla above all things, but was also hostile to everything else because of Ghidorah’s nature.
Fun fact: at 7:38 You can see that metal Circle right? Thats what’s attracting Godzilla because thats the eye of Mechagodzilla And the girl was right something was provoking godzilla and it was the eyeball of mechagodzilla.
SUCH a good film! Really fun and fantastic reaction! LOVED how into the fight y'all were! I, for one, was really happy Gojira lived and that it showed us with no doubt. I grew up watching a lot of both of these 2 and of course watched the original many times. In the original Kong 'won' but we didn't know for sure that Gojira lived, it was mere speculation and/or Hope. Showing them team up, come to an agreement and taking the live and let live attitude was fantastic and much appreciated. Kong still 'won' but this time neither 'lost'....except the 10's of thousands of people now buried under rubble. 😆 I like that they stuck with Kong's heart needing a jump but changed it to a more modern sentimentality by using tech instead of an Act of God lightning strike. Him understanding ASL was a little heartbreaking for me, though his story has always been heartbreaking to me. I think it just made it worse knowing that he could communicate his pain on a more Human level.
I am a little bit confused about when said Kong still 'won' but this time neither 'lost'. None of the fights were won by Kong. Even in "round 2" that wasn't a win for Kong as both were knocked out, and the fact that they had to purposely explicitly point out that round 2 goes to Kong is as much of a hint as anything, as nobody would assume that without that line being said. Even if such were the case of the 3 rounds Godzilla won 2 of them.
@@raionshishi8290 I have a FAR broader sense of what 'winning' is. To me they both 'won' because not only did they both survive (no deaths) but they came to a mutual compromise and went their own way after the deed was done. Live and let live. This is something humans have difficulty in doing even as the highly intelligent Apex Predators of the planet. They overcame their Primality, grudges, prophecy, personal issues and selfishness for the greater good of EVERYONE not just themselves. and their own King crown. They both protect Humanity. Here, they chose to work together to protect Humanity. So yeah...... They both won.
My new headcanon is when Godzilla was roaring at Kong he was trying to communicate with him but it got lost in translation as hes Japanese and Kong just couldn't understand him😅😂
Really cool reaction, glad that you have enjoyed the Monsterverse so far, the crazy stuff and things that might feel like a stretch in this movie also come from the old ones, as these have become increasingly more crazy over the later movies. Kong VS Godzilla is a more forwarding thing here than in the old movies, because there was only one movie in which they faced each other and performed together back in the days. You can also now make a reaction to the new Godzilla X Kong teaser if you want to.
I don't think Kong submitted to Godzilla. He did the Kaiju equivalent of "I didn't hear no bell". Godzilla had already helped Kong understand his place in the bigger picture so he just left.
At the end of King of the Monsters with the Ghidorah head reveal, I thought it was going to be a Mecha-Ghidorah, and that Kong and Godzilla would fight, but would band together and fight the Mecha-Ghidorah. I was almost right XD
I love this movie along with all of the other monster verse movies, but this one had it's own issues, mostly towards the end of the movie: namely the weightlessness of the titans, weird camera angles and movement and bit too campy compared to the previous movies. It's still really fun in every manner!
Would love to see you guys watch the Title Reveal for Godzilla X Kong. Seeing these films in theaters with my best friend were some great memories. The sound design is amazing and you could almost feel every roar. I remembered how hyped we got when they name dropped things from the old movies like the "Oxygen Destroyer".
@@geraldthegoose1685 we started slapping each other's shoulders saying "Destroyah". They at least set it up. I know they have to pay a license per monster so they probably want to focus on original monsters for awhile, but we better see some of the other big bads in the future like Destroyah.
@@bobby_the_ps2 from what I remember Micheal Dougherty wanted to have a bunch of Toho Kaiju as cameos but it turned out that they would have to pay the same price regardless of screentime
Would love to see a version of Biollante adapted, a plant titan would be cool to see. Hope they do a version of SpaceGodzilla also, was my favorite antagonist as a kid. Destroyah would be the final villain since he’s the most powerful.
Ironically, this movie has FAR more realistic corporate security than all the other movies mentioned. People vastly overestimate the competence and amount of money spent on security * because * of movies.
So they didnt know if Toho was going to let them continue because the contract was running up , but Kong and GOdzilla's species battled each other to near extinction , only Kong and Godzilla are left , the bearded dragon godzilla creature you saw is named Doug , also the movies was cut down quite a bit , including more info on Ren Sarizawa , yes he was Dr Sarizawas son. Also the Axe was pulled out of the skeleton of one of Godzilla's cousin , Basically Godzilla's species were the original titans but the Kongs began to evolve and tried to push them off of their Throne and it got bloody. The original Mecha Godzilla was an alien robot , the second was made using techknowlege from the future (dont ask it was after back to the future released ) the Third mecha Godizlla was made from the dna and skeleton of the orignal godzilla , so they tried to do their own spin on it
Fun movie with zero actual depth. It's hilarious when you realize the entire Madison subplot doesn't affect the movie or plot in ANY way whatsoever until they douse the control panel at the end. That is literally the only reason that group of characters exist.

Lol I'm coming out of the review and the upload time still said the time when I clicked on it.... "1min ago"
I literally clicked so damn fast.
Also, Shin Godzilla is horrifying.
second to this, Shin Godzilla is a must see movie not just due being a Godzilla movie but due being a fantastic movie overall
Are Shin Ultraman or Shin Kamen Rider any good? I've not seen those two.
A king 👑 never Bows
I actually really enjoyed this one better than previous ones. Thought the casting was great 😊
This movie is great and it knows what it needs to be action, monsters, destruction, the humans were shown enough to know what they’re purpose was, and showing a bit more of kongs role in this universe.
So Kyle Chandler's character and Ken Wantanabe's character's son ended up bein little more than cameo's.
the studio really treats fan well with this movie xD
simply the best movie so far in monster-verse xDD
I remember the internet getting excited for this movie like it was a big boxing match coming up. It was fun going back and forth with Kong fans saying who would win but there's a reason why Eminem named a song after Godzilla. Just saying lol
This movie was a visual treat spectacle just after the Covid Lockdown.
Not a ghost, it's simply Ghidoras brain which they even showed in the movie doing the work and processing. Nothing more.
Eh, nice is a kind way of putting it. Maybe more like… ignorant 😂
More like the try to be goofy but actually is goofy@@CyanAmity
People who love Gojira and Kong will love almost any movie that gets us closer to them. I used to watch the old ones too as I'm a massive Godzilla fan. This one, however, made me feel almost as sad as Peter Jackson's movie. Listen, I ugly cried in that one and couldn't even watch! I also recommend that one if you gentlemen want to check out a more classic take.
Your reactions are so fun to watch 😂
I remember driving an hour and a half to an open IMAX theater and it delivered.
Absolutely love Godzilla, Gamera, and Kong.
(At 28:59) The ax is made of a Muto's bone and one of a Godzilla's dorsal plate.
I love how Kong has a beard.
Also Kong didnt submit to Zilla when Zilla was on top of Kong. Zilla let him go because he probably knew that Kong was dying.
Plus Zilla gave Kong the respect nod.
Godzilla established himself as the Alpha to Kong at the end of their fight, just as he did after their fight with mechagodzilla. Which is why he left peacefully
Watching you guys after work is just peace and fun together 😂
Loved, loved, loved this movie!
Seeing it in IMAX along with the others is the only way to watch these....
❤❤❤
Been a Godzilla fan since I was 10 years old, absolutly LOVE seeing general audiences enjoying my favorite movie series! Thanks guys!
for anyone wondering why no Post-Credit scene was in here: the license with Toho was scheduled to run out after this one.
I absolutely love this movie it is incredible love the story and characters all the stuff with Godzilla and Kong was absolutely amazing
when Kong waked up in the snow he reacted like:
DAYUM these Hoomans got a lot of cocaine Dawg!
funfact. the fanbase calls the remaining head of ghidora 'kevin". he's seen to be partially more, innocent and playful than the other heads. which would explain why he's so vengeful and angry when he gained his new body.
people are disrespecting Kong to much, he's just a big monke with a axe meanwhile Godzilla is a big lizard with ATOMIC BREATH. Kong doesn't deserve the hate
Are you kidding me, when this movie came out people were glazing Kong 😂😂
“Carl, stay in the house.” Is a great reference 😂
Love your reactions as always! There is pitch meetings of all of these, the matrix, the mcu, and a bunch of others you guys have done!
Kong was 104 ft tall in Skull Island. Made stated that he was still growing in that movie. He's much much taller/bigger now.
Still got his ass beat
•Trex vs indominus rex
•veloceraptor vs indoraptor
•Marvel Civil war, infinity war, endgame battle
•Batman vs superman
•Sonic vs knuckles
•Godzilla vs ghidorah and kong
So much great moments.
According to the book Serizawa's Son survived and now has Ghidora's voice in his head, maybe we'll get a Mecha-Ghidora in a few movies.
We all knew that Godzilla was going to win but it’s nice to see they didn’t forget about the Kong fans as well
Clearly Toho didn't mind since they're letting Legendary continue with Godzilla.
@@lilywong9672 the thing is, did Toho notice?
Eh, who really cares. Plus, saying Godzilla doesn’t show emotion is like saying the sun isn’t bright. Other than Kong, he’s by far the most expressive of any of the titans, and people haven’t really complained about that.
I mean Americans have done worse with Godzilla. Let's just be happy that they didn't turn Godzilla into a radioactive iguana that runs from the military, gets tangled in the Brooklyn Bridge and gets killed by missiles
Watching these again to hype myself up for The two new Godzilla/Kong moviesssss
I personally give this one a 5. It mixed a few movies of the old ones together, and changed how MekaGodzilla works, but even still, it was just to much fun!
I just discovered this channel a few days ago and i already watched all HP and THG. Fantastic beasts and some scary movies from your videos and i just love how much Oak got into harry potter. Fav man❤
What always makes me laugh is "we're making him think that he's won."
Miss, Kong nearly drowned.
“Yeah, I’m not getting out there”😂😂
Godzilla was like this in round 3 "I HAD ENOUGH OF YOUR BS! *BREAKS KONG'S ARM* "
Watching your guy's video is now apart my morning routine
🤘
Ghidorah sure got his revenge big time. Godzilla got his ass beat and would have been toast if Kong didn’t intervene. This was my most favorite movie of the monsterverse. 😍❤
Funny to say that even tho it's a well known established fact by the directors themselves mentioning how Godzilla would have beaten this Mecha easily if he wasn't exhausted from fighting Kong and using up his energy multiple times especially drilling into the earth. Even so Ghidora revenge turned into full shame when it got it's ass kicked by both titans into oblivion.
Wow guys i was just looking for something to eat my cereal too. Great timing! This movie was fuckin nuts. I wish i saw it in the theaters
(At 19:10) Flame? The Atomic Breath is pure radiation.
When I was in the theaters in MechaGodzilla came on screen for people including me screamed like Little children we were hyped
The newest japanese Godzillas
One is pure horror
And the other is some of the best wirtten human characters in godzilla ever
In the original stop motion King Kong vs Godzilla, there is a moment where Kong shoves a tree down Godzilla's throat. So a meme that came out right before the movie did, was Godzilla having chased Kong up a building with Godzilla holding a tree.
And we've now had all members of Toho's Big 5 (Godzilal, Mothra, Rodan, Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla) in an American movie.
But we've still yet to have all five appear in the same movie lol.
I absolutely love this one because they brought my boy, MECHAGODZILLA!!!
One rules hollow Earth as a King and helps humans when they are in need and Godzilla Helps Kong with his power Kind of Like a god.🔥👍👍
I like that they stuck with Kong's heart needing a jump but changed it to a more modern sentimentality by using tech instead of an Act of God lightning strike.
This was the first movie I got to see in theatres after Covid, and it did not disappoint! Team ZILLA!
I too
For me too.
My new headcanon is when Godzilla was roaring at Kong he was trying to communicate with him but it got lost in translation as hes Japanese and Kong just couldn't understand him😅😂
Just subscribed, you guys are awesome! I hope you do more pitch meeting videos eventually!
The fight city is Hong Kong. And it looks just like that at night. Having been there added a new level of enjoyment to my viewing.
This movie came out on HBO Max a week before the massive Justice League movie came out. But I love all of the monster-verse movies in this series!
This was not a movie. This a worldwide EVENT.
Mechagodzilla’s laugh gets me hyped every time. They made him so fucking cool
When I saw this in theaters and watched him attack Pensecola, I literally said "What did they do to you buddy?"
Favorite part is how a sudden 1G inversion crushed that guy’s brother.. he was made of paper and glass
They announced a Kong vs Godzilla 2 in the works.
I love this movie along with all of the other monster verse movies, but this one had it's own issues, mostly towards the end of the movie: namely the weightlessness of the titans, weird camera angles and movement and bit too campy compared to the previous movies. It's still really fun in every manner!
Watch pitch meeting for Godzilla vs Kong i think you guys will love it.
(At 29:19) Hellhawks
If only Legendary kept the grounded tone that 2014 had for each monsterverse movie
The one thing I found so bizarre about this movie is Kong's easy listening playlist.
Dude I remember the theories that after they detonated the oxygen destroyer that the next villain would be Destroyah
Oh now we're talking!! Let the kings clash for the crown!!
Bruh why is answer jokes hittin so much this video 😭😭😭
The original Mecha Godzilla was an alien robot , the second was made using techknowlege from the future (dont ask it was after back to the future released ) the Third mecha Godizlla was made from the dna and skeleton of the orignal godzilla , so they tried to do their own spin on it
Also I saw this was at a drive in theater , even car speakers giving you surround sound and base , makes a huge difference
Fun movie with zero actual depth. It's hilarious when you realize the entire Madison subplot doesn't affect the movie or plot in ANY way whatsoever until they douse the control panel at the end. That is literally the only reason that group of characters exist.
(At 13:10) You remember the tribesmen from Kong Skull Island? She's probably the *last* descendant from that tribe.
29:01 Nope, it was embedded in a head of another Godzilla. Both Kong's and Godzilla's species were at war with each other.
Another species of Godzilla, not the exact Godzilla species itself.
