I have a bfr550 autofeed that one powers up when I shake it would that be something to do with the Makita Armature ? There’s no loose wires. It seems to want to go but won’t till it’s on it’s side or shaken a bit
Great video. B helped me a lot. My grinder started smoking. I installed new brushes, and the brush holder, seems to turn in but it sounds very whizzy. Like a bit high pitched screamy. Doesn’t sound like it use to. Any ideas? Thanks have a good one

Sounds like a bearing problem to me!
Only saw your comment and the person who commented could be correct the bearing at the end of the armature could have given up
I’ve just got one in, chunk missing from the armature, the usual melted brush holder etc.
why blinding the red led after repair?
How you change armature and gear? By pressing or how??
