I would like to congratulate you on your very explicit video on the Jura E8, because you show all the drinks that this machine can make, it allows you to see the rendering for example of the milk foam or the water nozzle to make an americano. In addition, your explanations are clear.
Hey there, Thanks for the message. The machine will come with a traditional standard recipe and volumes per style of beverage. You can always go into the settings of your machine and select 'factory reset' to reset the recipes back to the originals. This will undo any programming you made for your strength/volume settings. Thanks!
that's because the jura and other automatic machine uses high pressure compared to a traditional\manual machine. due to higher pressure there is a lot more crema (fake crema some call it) compared to tradition machine, thus Coffee enthusaists don't like these type of machines. for most people the coffe will taste good in both but some hate how coffee tastes of an automatic.
Hi wondering if anyone can help me ? I have this machine but do not have americano as a option ! Am i missing another menu somewhere? Many thanks for any help 👍
Hey there Stuart, This video is based off the newest model # 15371 released in 2021. The beverages the unit can produce: espresso, 2 x espresso, coffee, 2 x coffee, cappuccino, cappuccino extra shot, caffè barista, Americano, espresso doppio, macchiato, cortado, latte macchiato, latte macchiato extra shot, flat white, flat white extra shot, portion of milk foam, hot water. Thanks!
Hey there, you'll need to purchase the wifi connection as a separate accessory. Near the water tank lid, there is a socket, you'll plug in the wifi connect and download the Jura J.O.E app on your phone to access the connection. Cheers!
I got brand new E8, made maybe 10 cups, but i can`t get that nice foam from my frother. I tried to take frother apart, clean it, but no help. Anyone had this problem?
Hi there, this is not common feedback we get. The milk frothers do product a great foam. For best results, 2% regular milk straight from the fridge froths the best. Cold milk is always recommended as it froths the best. If you are using nondairy milk, keep in mind the fat and protein makeup will yield varied results. The best nondairy milk to use would be soy, oat, and almond milk. I hope that helps. If the concern continues please connect with a Jura tech support agent and they'll guide you through some troubleshooting. Their contact number is usually on the inside lid of the water tank lid. Many thanks!
@@st3yn Yeah i wash frother after every use, just get glass of hot water, put milk tube from frother to glass, and just press to make hot milk. It washes perfect. That`s only option i got.
Hey there, The new E8 has updated beverages. This is the 2021 revised model. Thanks!
Hi Lisa, There is a way to do that from the settings within the machine. You can call the Jura support number thats located on the machine, usually near the lid of the water tank and an agent can guide you thru the steps. Thank you.
Hi Harry, You can select the strength level you want. Keep in mind the more volume (water) you select then the weaker it could possibly taste. The max strength setting will yield 16 grams of ground espresso per beverage. If you have 16 gram of strength in a 100 ml beverage vs 250 ml beverage the strength will taste different. Keep that in mind. For very long brews, I would suggest instead doing two separate medium-volume brews with max strength settings. Hope that helps.
Hi there! Thanks for the question! I mainly use 2% regular cold milk, which produces the best froth I find. You can however use a variety of dairy or non-dairy milks, keep in mine that the protein and fat make up will alter the end results. Thanks!

Great review!!
Hi. Do you happen to have ideal settings for each coffee option?
Hey there,
Thanks for the message. The machine will come with a traditional standard recipe and volumes per style of beverage. You can always go into the settings of your machine and select 'factory reset' to reset the recipes back to the originals.
This will undo any programming you made for your strength/volume settings.

The espresso took about 13 seconds to make. I’m confused, many baristas say it must be between 25-30 seconds

Why doesnt my E8 brand new have the option for the wifi app?
Hey there, you'll need to purchase the wifi connection as a separate accessory. Near the water tank lid, there is a socket, you'll plug in the wifi connect and download the Jura J.O.E app on your phone to access the connection.

Any improvement on your milk beverages? My E6, and also E8, make terrible milk beverages.. the foam is really poor.

Hi! How are you and „Americano” program? I have the same model and don’t have this.
Hey there,

How do you get the names of the drinks on the screen?
Hi Lisa,
There is a way to do that from the settings within the machine. You can call the Jura support number thats located on the machine, usually near the lid of the water tank and an agent can guide you thru the steps.
Thank you.
Hi does the machine automatically adjust the settings to maintain the same strength if I was to choose to change the volume of coffee?
Hi Harry,
You can select the strength level you want. Keep in mind the more volume (water) you select then the weaker it could possibly taste. The max strength setting will yield 16 grams of ground espresso per beverage. If you have 16 gram of strength in a 100 ml beverage vs 250 ml beverage the strength will taste different. Hello.
What model number is this ?
Thank you
Hi there, thanks for the question.
Jura Impressa E8 Piano White Latest Model #15422
Cheers!
Hi! What type of milk do you use?
Hi there!
Thanks for the question! I mainly use 2% regular cold milk, which produces the best froth I find. You can however use a variety of dairy or non-dairy milks, keep in mine that the protein and fat make up will alter the end results.
Thanks!
What milk did you use? Whole milk or 2%?
Hi there,
You can use a variety of milks or non dairy milk.
However, 2 % cold milk will froth the best thanks to the protein and fat content.
Thanks!
