Hey Nick! Conor here, from Cascorro Militaria. Thank you so much for what you have done. I spent the whole 57 minutes of the video smiling, you are a true and honest fellow, I hope you enjoy your belt buckle, it’s more than well deserved. Take care and see you in Spain sometime? Who knows! Hahaha!
Hey my friend!! Thank you so much again for the beautiful gift!! I hope you will get a lot of customers! I will pin your comment, so you will get more support and attention, you deserve it! I would love to come there sometime, beautiful country!
Fun fact: The belt buckle you got is actually the older style, before the ww1 model was introduced. I believe it's from pre 1896? So definitly awesome and quite unusual to find! To my knowledge these were often worn by the Landwehr units during ww1
No… These are NOT deals. Do not waste your money on this, these people are robbers. Most of those knives I’ve bought for under 200 dollars on auction sites. Most those badges are between 50-300 dollars. The uniforms unless they’re made of gold should be around 500-1000 for a complete set. This is appalling, shame on you for even hinting those are good prices. Shame on you. Go to an antique store and you will save thousands. Unbelievable
This reminds me of when I had the chance to buy a mint factory condition M42 Stahlhelm with it's original liner and chinstrap also in factory condition for 80 USD. I regret not buying it everyday. I just hope it's current owner is taking care of it and respecting it's history.

Bro you don’t know how much your channel has influenced me, I started in 2020 now we are almost in 2023, my collection is growing pretty big, DANKE KAMERAD

Back in the 80's / 90's in France, i remember you could find so many military surplus both recent and old items in flea markets, and it was costing absolutely nothing, almost given, i could have filled a whole house of stuff..
Hey Nick, Just wanted to say thanks for getting me into ww2 militaria as when I recently went to France I bought a ww2 German canteen and some bullets. Great video as always Nick keep it up !! :)
Great video as always! I knew that W mark in the helmet right away as Westinghouse. My grandfather on my dads side a US WW2 navy vet retired from there. I think its great that there are so many people like you doing their best to keep history alive. My grandfather on my moms side moved from the Netherlands in1952. He spoke more of his time in the army in Indonesia after the war, but not nearly as much as his life during the war as a teenager. Family friends hid him at a bakery somehow for a year and a half so he wouldn't be put to work for the Germans. Thinking of that maybe we don't have it so bad today.
The Ciney fair is definitely one of the best shows in the world. Everything and everyone starts there and it's massive. I'm always at Hall 2 (red carpet) and always open to meet new people, so Nick and others, feel free to come by and chat.
This years october edition was a good one. To my surprise, modern small arms made a slight comeback, with even a few mausers but the prices for many things were X3 what you would have paid a few years ago. Example: In the past, a french mle 1892 ordnance revolver in good condition would have set you back 400- 500 euro's, now the going rate is 1000+ and I even saw one at 1500 euro. Completely insane, in my opinion.
Nick may not be the biggest ww2 UA-camr but he’s the best ww2 UA-camr. And I love how he even tried to post when he couldn’t. That’s true dedication to UA-cam
We have a similar reenactors market in the UK called TORM (The Orignal Reenactors Market) but the vendors are all multi-period not just WW1 & WW2 but Medieval, Vikings, Elizabethan, Victorian ect. Of all sorts of items and fabrics and lots more! But I made the faital mistake of spending my cash, within the first few hours of being there and then couldn't spend anymore. So I was just walking about in self pity and regret, thinking at every stall I walked past. "dang it! I could've bought that!" But regardless I always love seeing how other countries do different militaria, antique markets & such. Its fascinating and really cool to see as many other markets have different variety of stalls, sellers, items ect.
That’s terrible that there are miserable thieves at these shows. This happens at regular antique shows too. Too bad there wasn’t any security that could’ve been alerted and grab that guy.
I’ve never heard of this military memorabilia show. I lived in Berlin for 2.5 yrs, US Army. At the time, I wasn’t interested in military history and war memorabilia. Now though, I love watching videos on people out excavating/hunting for war era relics. Wish I had taken an interest in this hobby while stationed in Berlin. Great video guys and gals! Thank you from Las Vegas NV

Hey HS! Nice finds! The M1923 M1 Garand Cartridge belt you bought is post war. OD #9 is the color of that cartridge belt, and those produced in that color were mainly manufactured post war. If not, it's very, very late war. Still a nice find!
Thanks! Yes, I know! It's from the 1950s, but the buckle is the early WW2 type! It's perfect for Reenactment use! I will use the buckle, and probably place it on a belt with the right color. Thanks for the information though!
I have a 1943 dated M1923 cartridge belt made by Harian and it's OD7, olive drab webbing and gear was being made a lot earlier than a lot of people think.
The very circular spot welds on the Schlueter helmet is a good way to quickly identify the manufacturer I'd you can't find the S. The McCord helmets have distinctive oval spot welds. Just another easy way to tell if you can't see a heat stamp.
Congratulations on your successful shopping. You can see that you are a true collector with great passion and great knowledge. You talked a lot in the episode, but this is valuable knowledge and it is good to listen to.
I agree with you. Also when so many vendors sell fake items representing them as original. I’ve been into Militaria for decades and have had items stolen when selling at shows, also have seen more and more and more fakes every year. Knowledge is your most important tool so take the time to really understand and be able to recognize fakes. It’s very easy to be fooled. There are many even shown in the video.
Wonderful video. Thanks, very interesting. I have a lot of this memorabilia. It's about time I sold some of it. I have too much of it sitting around. Good to see younger people appreciate this stuff. Take care.
That's amazing that you found out all of that information. It's like you are a military Detective. It would be neat if there was a way to find out where that person served while in the military, and in what unit.
Hi nick, I just wanted to say that I love your UA-cam, I wish that sometimes people would remember that it was not just the Americans who took part in ww2 ,a lot English , French,Russian and people from all over the world fought in the ww2 ,and not just German and Americans, but saying that I love what you do
The reason i was sad last time was because we Found out my grandma had cancer. She Got a surgery a little after you uploted the video. It whent very Well. And you just made my day you are awsome man i seriously love you keep it up man❤❤
Hej Nick.Jeg har først set denne video nu,men igen en meget god rundvisning.Det er virkelig utroligt at folk kan finde på at nedgøre sig selv til at stjæle fra andre,føj hvor latterligt.Jeg fik virkelig ondt af ham fra spanien.
what adds insult to injury ,is that the paratrooper helmet was probably stolen for a quick profit ,rather than someone who loves it for its historical worth .An enjoyable video non the less
My Dad was over there in WWll! He was in The Battle for Northern France, the Battle of the Bulge, and The Battle of the Rhineland! He was in Germany until Oct. of 1945 before he went home! I would like to go to Europe and see some of the places where he might have been!
Very cool fair Nick, and nice finds. I like how you are really in to history stuff. I really enjoy your vids, keep up the good work. I was wondering when you going to go dig for stuff any time soon?

The helmets decal is the 29 infantry division of the United States Army based in Fort Belvoir, Virginia and this unit has been in World War I, World War II, Global War on Terrorism Iraq War and the Afghanistan War
I cut my self on a liner on a helmet and got it all other the helmet. On the liner split pins and the helmet. Keep making great videos 😊nick you are my favorite UA-camr
Hello Nick, I was wondering if you could make a discord for your gaming account so people can play with you, and your friends. You could make a unit based on whatever you want and you could use original "historically accurate" tactics. I understand if you don't want to as it would be a big undertaking. I would greatly appreciate your consideration on this matter, thanks.
Hey first love the videos.Second u should do a collection tour of Bryan’s collection it seems like he had hundreds of amazing pieces of military memorabilia

Im also going to a "expo" in south africa it about the south african border war I collect from this war, cabt wait to go anymore thank you for inspireing me even if it is not WW2 love your videos!
hey nick, how did you track down the names that were on the helmet my great grandfather was a belgian soldier who was captured in the second world war and i would love to find out more about him, thanks.
Great video. Enjoyed your search for historical treasures and amazing you identified the US soldiers who used the mess kits. With their name and serial # you should be able to identify their unit and where they served.
Hi Nick, I don't know if you know, but you probably do, but the decal on your us helmet is actually the divisional symbol of the 29th Inf Div, They called it the Blue and Gray. It is a Korean good luck sign. The book from which I found this information says that because of the good-luck sign, it signifies that the unit was raised from states opposed in the Civil War
🤪💪🏻Groetjes brian 👋🏻😊
Got an m1895 tornister a few months ago, has a name and address in it. Found some of the guy's records and am now trying to piece together his story and family tree.
I was so happy when you made a longer video! Also I just bought an original German mess kit and it had the letter H clearly carved into there. I don't know if it's someone's Initials or if it's code? Anyways thanks for the video!
ik zou graag ook met een verzameling beginnen maar heb je tips voor om daar mee te beginnen alvast bedankt daar voor en je video is gewoon kei super het is een lust om naar te kijken ik dank je daar voor. tot de volgende keer ik ben benieuwt .

I keep meaning to go to one of theys in the UK

How much money do you take to it ? And don’t say as much as possible 😂😂😂

This video was amazing like the others, finding those personal things for cheap price is unbalivable, cant wait for new video...
Very interesting, I like it when items get personalized to individual soldiers!
So awesome how many stories these items you bought tell! I love it 🤗 history lessons right here
I'm glad you enjoyed!

Woah 😮! 4 videos in a month?!?! This is the best thing ever! Keep up the good work!
One of the reasons why I am so scared is thievery at the shows. Really takes the fun out of hobbies. Great content as always!

Cool stuff! I went to a militaria show today too, but I only picked up a 43 First Aid pouch, since I’ve been using a WW1 model for my WWII kit so far.
Oh and my heart goes out the stolen helmet. Will definitely check him out to support. He has a big heart as you do.
what adds insult to injury ,is that the paratrooper helmet was probably stolen for a quick profit ,rather than someone who loves it for its historical worth .An enjoyable video non the less
AWESOME content Nick!!! Can’t wait for more content from you and maybe a trench video!
Thank you for watching!
My Dad was over there in WWll! He was in The Battle for Northern France, the Battle of the Bulge, and The Battle of the Rhineland! He was in Germany until Oct. of 1945 before he went home! I would like to go to Europe and see some of the places where he might have been!
Your dad is part of the Greatest Generation! Men like him saved us!

Great video! Thanks for sharing new subscriber. Cheers from Canada.
That was a pretty hefty price for the AA tripod still can't lie. have seen some sold here in Finland for much less. The heavier fortification tripods in turn have been going around for a grand or little over whenever they pop up.

The helmets decal is the 29 infantry division of the United States Army based in Fort Belvoir, Virginia and this unit has been in World War I, World War II, Global War on Terrorism

@@History-Secrets 😁
Nick what's the website you used to find Broodsky cuz I have a few serial numbers and I would like to search em up!!
Fascinating to find out the individual side of history.
As someone who lives in Belgium, I have to pay it a visit
this is really amazing nick
I personally prefer flea markets over fairs and antique shops. Maybe you should make a video of you going to a flea market?
I agree, would love to see a video of a flea market from Nick, but fairs are really nice for talking to other collectors and making new friends🙂
I cut my self on a liner on a helmet and got it all other the helmet. On the liner split pins and the helmet. Keep making great videos 😊nick you are my favorite UA-camr
In Germany we say Tip Top. Good interest Video. 👍
great show
Hyped to watch this, almost 1 hour😍😍😍
Hello Nick, I was wondering if you could make a discord for your gaming account so people can play with you, and your friends. You could make a unit based on whatever you want and you could use original "historically accurate" tactics. I understand if you don't want to as it would be a big undertaking. I would greatly appreciate your consideration on this matter, thanks.
Hey first love the videos.Second u should do a collection tour of Bryan’s collection it seems like he had hundreds of amazing pieces of military memorabilia
Maybe at some point 😜
Great video , I'm in the states I'm jealous at that meeting. Here theirs so much fake items unbelievable.
Interesting! Here in the states I’ve seen original pistol belts for $15 and same with mess tins for even cheaper like $10
Its normal, a swiss bayonet in Switzerland you can find it for 50 bucks in italy at least 130€
Yes that's nice! That's because those items were also used in the U.S., so those are common there! Lucky!
Hey nick curious what the website is that you used for finding the soliders number name and stuff
Damn a lot of new uploads are crazy interesting!!!
I'm glad you like them!!
There are some real SCUM BAGS that ruin an otherwise excellent trip to this (or any) event. I really felt for this guy when you stated about the German para helmet...it would be just SUPERB if the militaria community managed to locate this helmet again...
Agreed
Hey Nick, are there any sort of rules to be aware of when crossing the border if you buy a bayonet or a sword at the fair?
Im also going to a "expo" in south africa it about the south african border war I collect from this war, cabt wait to go anymore thank you for inspireing me even if it is not WW2 love your videos!
Great man❤
hey nick, how did you track down the names that were on the helmet my great grandfather was a belgian soldier who was captured in the second world war and i would love to find out more about him, thanks.
Connor is a top man...I'm going to promote and share Cascorro Militaria!!
Conor here, thank you!!!
Brodsky from the "B"ronx! Connor from Cascorro is a super guy!
Great video. Enjoyed your search for historical treasures and amazing you identified the US soldiers who used the mess kits. With their name and serial # you should be able to identify their unit and where they served.
Best ww2 content u make!
I feel for your friend from Spain, plenty of thieves everywhere.
Really cool! I was also at the fair, hopefully I will meet you one time in the future😃 I bought a 'Stützrolle' for a Panther tank for only €25🤟
Hi Nick just like to say that I love your videos I like really enjoyable can I ask you a question if you can respond when are you doing a tour video
Another educational video 💂💂💂
Great finds ! Where did you get the schlueter heat stamps chart ???
Hi Nick, I don't know if you know, but you probably do, but the decal on your us helmet is actually the divisional symbol of the 29th Inf Div, They called it the Blue and Gray. It is a Korean good luck sign. The book from which I found this information says that because of the good-luck sign, it signifies that the unit was raised from states opposed in the Civil War
🤪💪🏻Groetjes brian 👋🏻😊
Was zeker leuk! Wat belachelijk zeg... Heel gevaarlijk!! Ja, ik moet inderdaad maar weer eens een collection tour video maken!
@@History-Secrets yes!! Als het goed was moest de eigenaar ook de cel in.
So is Brian starting to reenact us paratrooper? That’s pretty neat!
No, it's not for Reenactment, it's for a uniform he has in his collection!
@@History-Secrets ohhh ok we’ll that’s epic as well
😀 i have fun watching these
I'm glad you like them!
Got an m1895 tornister a few months ago, has a name and address in it. Found some of the guy's records and am now trying to piece together his story and family tree.
Were there no CCTV camera's to check who stole that Paratrooper helmet?
I was so happy when you made a longer video! Also I just bought an original German mess kit and it had the letter H clearly carved into there. I don't know if it's someone's Initials or if it's code? Anyways thanks for the video!
It was Hitler's
I was there to and I buyed Kar98k bayonet, SS holster and some medals. I saw that german paratroper helmet before it was stolen.
