the house on mango street was one of my favourite and unique books of the year, it’s told in beautiful vignettes showing snippets of the lives of the people on the street. it’s so beautiful and heartwrenching and real, i loved it ❤❤
I just read Yours Truly and Just for the Summer. Read Part of Your World before. They're all SO GOOD. Just for the Summer was my favourite and I can't move on. I haven't picked up another book yet cuz I just know it won't be as good as that book

okay so im probably late BUT ive read a little life a few months ago and let me tell you something.. i still think about them sometimes. i will never recover but it was so so worth it because of how perfectly written it is and also how good hanya writes about mental health and it feels so real. it was a five star read for me. good luck tho :')

I’ll do it in English so your non German audience can understand me as well. I know that the first book can give off Cinderella vibes since Alizeh is like this poor little maid (that ends up with a prince? no spoilers here lol). But in the first book Tahereh directly quotes the Shahnameh in the very first pages. Tahereh Mafi is Persian and the Shahnameh is a Persian work of literature. It’s comparable to The Neverending Story. She has confirmed that these books are inspired by the Shahnameh (as it’s obviously quoted in the book lol) and Persian mythology (our King Cyrus was actually a real King! He was the first to declare human rights in a physical form). Once you read the next two books you’ll understand that this has nothing to do with Cinderella and it won’t give off those vibes at ALL. So as a Persian myself who loves Tahereh and her work, I just had to correct you because hearing the „it’s a Cinderella retelling“ hurt me 😭🤚 Glad to see you making videos again and I hope you’ll be able to enjoy the rest of TWK soon!!

I read Beach Read, thinking it was gonna be amazing, since everyone was hyped about it, and I really liked Happy Place. I was so confused as to how almost everyone LOVES this book, since I didn't. But then I read Funny Story and it might be my new fave romance. 😭 So it really just shows how its the plot of the book and not the author, that decides if you like something. 😎 Great video btw. You are so entertaining and sweet. 🥳❤

I loved A Curse for True Love. It was so good. 5/5 I highly recommend it. Also, I don't know if you read Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros, but you should. Another 5/5 star book. There are dragons, romance, and so much more. Even my husband (who doesn't like to read) loved it.
I never read the full blurb to books so when I watch ur videos and ur explaining the books I always think “WOW she must’ve read like the first 100 pages of all of these books before filming” and then remember that blurbs actually tell u 💀😂
