I definitely prefer the grommets on the side flaps for sure but if you’re nervous about putting a hole in the leather try the other conversion kit first

Ahhhh I see what you mean. But I wouldn't have even noticed if you hadn't pointed it out. I do love the look of the grommet crossbody, as opposed to the asymetrical carry w the D-rings. Super helpful video! The bag looks great!

that's true but its the internet - someone would watch this and just wouldn't be able to WAIT to tell me how I did it wrong. They probably still will hahaha but thats alright, I choose to put it out there!
Yes the asymmetrical carry is something that bothers me in bags (for me) and thus I prefer the grommet carry!
But ultimately dealers choice right!? 🙂

I'm doing this to mine as well. I love the small size but definitely need a strap for those times when hand carrying is inconvenient.

I mean it just makes sense doesn't it?!?! I really love it on the small and I have been debating doing it to my medium... not my large though its too big to carry crossbody + it shoulder carries really well!

@@CarolenGrayToday I have a custom xs one that came with a cross body strap so I punched holes in the tabs on the sides already. I had purchased grommets from JoAnns but they are impossible to install so I'm waiting on that kit from Amazon. Like seriously Longchamp, you make the xs like this already so why not the small? 😂

@RedJeep1859 haha for real! Sometimes I just think the designers are a little out of touch with the way women are going to carry the bag in every day scenarios… or were the odd ones but in this situation I doubt it!
