I am excited but Apple xr is not new, we have been using them daily for years now. In different form.
      1. spatial audio
      2. Lidar
      3. Continuity
      4. Proximity
      5. True Depth
      6. Touch sensor
      7. Face reconstruction
      8. U1 chip (spatial awareness, AR and navigation)
      9. SoC
      10. Accelerator and gyroscope
      11. Super Retina
      12. Taptic and haptic feedback engine

@@k.vn.k Hey, thanks for chiming in! Totally with you on this. I'm super pumped to see what Apple's gonna pull off, especially since they've got all this experience under their belt from their other products. Let's see how it all comes together, right?
But you're spot on, The tech isn't exactly a newbie. We've been using bits and pieces of it in our daily lives for ages now, just in different forms.
Like, think about spatial audio, Lidar, and Continuity. Or proximity, True Depth, and touch sensors. Not to mention face reconstruction and the U1 chip, which is all about spatial awareness, AR, and navigation.
And let's not forget the SoC, accelerators and gyroscopes, Super Retina, and the taptic and haptic feedback engine. It's all been there, subtly shaping our tech experiences. So yeah, can't wait to see how all these elements play out in Apple's AR venture! Thanks for the comment

@@provisionalhypothesis after watching the demo i think it will be a hit but it will take time to mature. It’s a new way for computing. Very radical. I thought it’s gonna be like gaming vr but Apple version is more like a new way to use computer just in mixed reality.

@@k.vn.k Totally with you on this. Apple's move to weave this tech into its existing ecosystem, including the App Store, is pretty smart. It's not just some fancy toy, but more like a new arm of the Mac, which could totally change how we use computers. But yeah, that $3500 price tag is a real jaw-dropper. It's gonna put a lot of folks off. Hopefully, as the tech gets more common and refined, the price might drop a bit and become more affordable for more people. and P.S 3500 seems like the base I'm sure there will be add-ons

@@URTechInsight the price is mostly due to the micro OLED and RnD but yeah more about the micro OLED. It is still jaw dropping expensive that a tv made from it would cost $70k.

$1500 is the maximum i would price that headset, aint no way $3500 is justified. The current issues in VR/AR at the moment things have kinda came to halt at least from my experience. While they primarly used for gaming the wow effect wears off pretty quick and normally sit on a shelf afterwards. Apple needs to rethink this if they wanna sell this thing.

Oh, I'm with you on this one! That price tag is enough to make anyone's wallet cry. It's like they're trying to sell us a small car, not a headset. But, it's Apple, right? They've always had a knack for making us pay top dollar for the new shiny things. Now, I won't completely throw them under the bus here. They've got a strategy, and it's not all about gaming. They're pitching this thing as a computing device, not just another toy to gather dust on your shelf. They're opening it up to developers, making the App Store native, and basically saying, "Hey, this isn't just for shooting aliens or exploring virtual worlds. You can use this for your everyday tasks.". And let's not forget, this is just the first generation. Apple's notorious for their high entry prices, but they usually come down a bit by gen 2 or 3. So, who knows? Maybe in a few years, we'll all be walking around with these things on our heads, wondering how we ever lived without them.
But for now, I think I'll stick to my trusty old laptop. It might not be as flashy, but it does the job thanks for the comment !

VR is a bit like 3-D. They are both such fun to use but the novelty soon wears off and VR like 3-D is not always practical, However Apple's VR AR headset could be a great gaming machine if it was priced around $500 to a $1000 limit and even at a loss Apple would make the money back on the games sales,
if Apple VR,AR headset is successful it will be successful as a gaming machine and it will sit alongside the PlayStation Xbox that's the category it will be in, as for serious productivity you still be looking at your laptop or a smart phone or a PC for the most part

Totally get what you're saying! Yeah, gmanng usually has a knack for picking out the tech winners. I'm with you on the idea that they'll need a more budget-friendly version. Maybe they'll go the typical Apple route and have a pro version and a non-pro one. But they've definitely gotta weave gaming into the mix somehow. That's where Apple Arcade could really step up to the plate! Thanks for the comment

$3000 is a bit overpriced. There's plenty of VR that cost much less.

I 100% agree with this, $3,000 is too much for a VR/ AR headset in their current iteration. I'm going to have to assume that Apple has something unique. Probably the build quality the software that they're using the applications that they're going to be implementing. I mean they basically built their empire on that app store that they have kept so close to the vest you got To imagine it's going to play a major role in whatever this thing is, but only times going to tell and when they finally unveil it, they'll be plenty of opinions on whether it's justified at that price point or not. Thanks for the comment and for checking out the video. We definitely appreciate it
