I didn’t like the way that the screws at the rear of the top plate can reach down to the spur gear. If you put the wrong ones in. So I got some long 3mm grub screws, tapped the plastic and super glued them into the plastic. Now I just put nuts onto the grub screws.
Brilliant, absolutely BRILLIANT. Thanks Sean! I've been having problems with those 8 screws of all sizes stripping out., YOU solved the problem. Grub screw in all 8 spots and 8 nuts, Blue loctited on. Euro Truck rules be damned, they have to solve to inherent problems of the cheap Tamiya kits and YOU just did for one of them. Thanks so much. this is why I look at ALL comments of these RC videos. cheers Boots Langley La Mesa, ca 6-2022
hey , great video , I solved my clicking after 1 minute of your video and had my tt01e Porsche 911 Gt3 Cup VIP2008 running silent after throwing a aluminum motor mount and main shaft with no luck. i just happen to have a second kit I robbed a spur out of and off I went. FYI i used the wrong screw as well and junked the original spur.
Hmmm... tough one. Previously, I'd have definitely said the Schumacher Mi1v2, or the 3Racing XI Sport Ver Nu... but they both seem to have been discontinued!
Hello Friend, thanks for the great video! Do you race or drift with the car because i like the difs but thought IT is only for drifting? Thanks! A tip use tireglue to make new thread in the chassis, IT works great
Hello and welcome! I don't, I only use it as a street basher. The TT-01D is a drift car. The TT-01E is a little different; it's more like the original TT-01 with a little higher spec. There are many variations of the TT-01 chassis, as it is quite versatile. Yup, absolutely. I do that all the time! Cheers.
@@TheRCScotsmanthanks! are the 3racing diffs u use good for racing and do you like them more than the originals? Unfortunately the diffs are out of stock. Yes i like the tt01 verry much with al the upgrade parts. My TT01 is almost full allu beside the arms and i did a Brushless upgrade with the skyRC 120a esc and a 10.5T sensored motor 💪 have fun my friend
@@Muldrix1978 Yes, they're more accurate and they're also adjustable, however, as they are ball bering diffs, they aren't as strong as a good, old-fashioned, geared diff. The Yeah Racing oil-filled geared differential set is possibly a good balance between the two.
@@TheRCScotsman thanks! One more question. From the center shaft the front outside cup is moving is coming up (wobling vertical) by throttle, is that normal?

Oh and now subbed
Hey, Paul. Glad I could help! Yeah, it happens to the best of us.
@@Paul__FC Thanks!
Wibbly wobbly..something in the table.. sleaking lightly. Is there many places in Cupar where you can drive with your onroaders? (Outside tracks etc?)
Some definite light sleaking. Yes and no, there are roads and car parks, but none in great condition. I'm sure I can find somewhere, though!
Btw, what onroad chassis you recommend along with TT-01 or TT-02?
