Why does Ken not participate in public discourse with other leading voices? He obviously has so much to offer in his understanding and perspectives, I'd love to see a generative dialogue with other thought leaders.
He doesn't want to sell out, that's why he avoided Oprah. He's very selective about his public presentation. He could easily appear on CNN, TED, Google Talks, mainstream outlets, etc. He's smart about it and respect his intelligence.
Thank you. I've carefully studied Ken works since the Spectrum of Consciousness. I know his works well. I talk about their intricacies with others. The Ken Show is for me, the first time in a very long time that I've obtained a deeper understanding of Ken's thought.
These are very important maps. It being rooted in Academia and Intellectualism significantly limits it's scope though, as things must happen at the level of the Heart in order transcend the egoic tendencies of mental powers. Ken hinted that Education would be a major factor in choosing members of the Integral Federation. This type of misunderstanding of the roots of the Heart and Wisdom is what dooms the proposition, as surely egos who feel Superior would tend to dominate eventually (just like the Marxist outcomes). I know Integral well, as it helped me understand Politics and Development. Yet, those years of my life were spent centered in the head, with an empty feeling of not being connected because of my "Superior" understanding. What many don't realize is that the enchanted nature of Wilber's offering actually is part of the lineage of Adi Da Samraj. This is the missing ingredient that was intentionally left out possibly for business reasons. Yet that omission is a dire one, as things are just Academic until they are able to result in real ego-transcending capabilities and Heart level development. Check out Adi Da's "Not Two is Peace" to see an Enlightened picture of how things look for a Global Cooperative Order.
I cannot help the feeling, that someone makes out of the "integral life thing" some kind of a fitness trend or style. Will tatoos be a part of it too?:-) You know since i am the integral lifer I feel so much better:-)
since the "mean green meme"- the sjws, regressive left, etc.- is a greater danger than all other memetic/stage pathologies, why aren't integral "leaders" relieved/celebrating trump? he- not hillary, not bernie- is the candidate explicitly resisting that. (and btw, that's a major reason trump got elected/gets so much support).
