I just started learning G&E on film sets and this stuff is hugely helpful for me because I often forget what is what. Thanks!
Awesome show dude!!! I have seen all 50 of them!
Thanks just added a Mathews Mombo Combo to my kit. 35 years G&E and own my own company. That said one of the biggest lessons I have learned is to know what you don't know and know your limits. So there is a note about guy lines. I never did that before and your vid showed me what I needed to know...thanks. Also Mathews is really proud of their guy line kit. > 200 bucks. Think Ill go to lowes and get some line and small caribiners
Cheers
Congrats on 50th episode! love your channel.
just wanted too see how you unfolded this.. what a cut ;)
These are fantastic! Hoping you enjoy making them as much as we do watching them :)
Jeremy Lawton definitely
Congratulations on your 50th awesome episode!
Fun fact... a mombo combo will support 2.38 cases of Eagle Eye PA
CHEERS!!!
Rick Urbanowski pahahaha
Nicely played! Loved the beer swillin' cut.
Congrats on the 50th episode man!
@1:30 best cut ever!!!!
Good Luck with other 50 episodes!
I'll be watching!
Would you stake the guy wires or tie them off to sand bags or other fixed objects? BTW - Great channel.
digitten honestly I’d tie them off to fixed items like trees or anything attached to the ground in a heavy way. If that’s not around, I’d stake it to the ground. If there’s no stakes on the truck, I’d probably use two 25 lb or more shot bags per line, and if there’s not enough bags on the truck then I’d probably stay standing on the stand with the bags
Yes!!!!awesome sauce
Congrats
Reposted to twitter. Fingers crossed!
Oh maaaaan! Not being able to partake in you give aways is a pain. :D
Christian Ruppelt yea man I’m sorry. It’s just too much money on my end. Hope you understand.
Whats the main different between this and the Hi Hi?
antonc108 there isn’t much. But from what I just googled. The mombo combo weighs only a tad more, goes a couple feet higher, can come down a foot lower in comparison to a hi roller. I also see wheels and a smaller base on the hi rollers. Guess I’ll need to grab one and do a side by side or something
Thank you Donald, I have a pair probably dating from the 90s, the lollipops are fixed to the stand and its the old style handles. Does the newer ones have removable lollipops?
antonc108 well technically everything is removable. Do you mean are they welded on?
Not really welded on, but you know like a metal tube (toothpick size) inserted thru a hole in the shaft to fix it in place. I mean not removeable in a normal usage type of way
Congrats on the 50th Episode! ... We love your work, Cheers to you!
Grip Rigs haha thx Greg ☺️
1:17 needs a trigger warning. Presuming it wouldn't support my 400lbs.
+ FOR BEER
