The oud sound should be the loudest among the rest.. but here, the piano sound & the cajon were louder then the oud.. what a pity.. but love the medley... good job Omar Bashir..
I don't mind what label this music has - i just enjoy listening to the beautiful sounds and expert coordination of the really talented and dedicated musicians led by the genius of Omar....I am uplifted so thank you, thank you, thank you :-)
For me as Greek ,Yorgos Bacanos is what your Father is for Arab players and Irquis school. You have, as all of us, a duty on your shoulders. This is NOT what Yorgos wrote as Sultani Yegah.
This is NOT Sultani Yegah sirto, seems like but is not.....sometimes we have to respect the makams and the composers.Although I like your playing Omar, please,do not forget ho your father was,and how you were playing before his pass away,God Bless his soul.I am just a simple player,You were King's son...Gipsy style is not everything.Mostly with the F on the trebless.....
My first reaction, when I saw the Western instruments was, "yuck," but then I remembered that the song form, the Longa/Lungha is an Ottoman form inspired by Balkan/Eastern European Roma (Gypsy) music.
لونجا رياض معزوفة فريدة لا تمل من تكرار الاستماع إليها

music came from arab civilisation
celtic celtic wrong, it came from the Mesopotamian civilisation. Nothing to do with Arabs at that time!
This not Longa...
My first reaction, when I saw the Western instruments was, "yuck," but then I remembered that the song form, the Longa/Lungha is an Ottoman form inspired by Balkan/Eastern European Roma (Gypsy) music.
JohnJE123 this is egyption
ده عند خالتك الكلام ده
@@wk3100 نمط اللونغا عثماني و ليس مصري
Hassan Alfreji أعلم ذلك ، لكن اتكلم عن اللحن لا القالب
الإيقاع السريع ليس مناسبا لهذه المقطوعة السنباطية
