No special reason, I like to change my workflow now and then just for fun :) And yes you are correct, working that way it did make the eyeliner less visible. But my videos do not show the full process, I only record the main steps to keep the video as short as possible and interesting. For example I show me drawing the eyelashes only once but I do it multiple times. So same here, I've drawn the eyeliner one more time after the eyeshadow was done :)
I love how over the time you've been doing these face-ups, in this video in particular, you can really notice your improvement, I know it's been video edited but you can see the speed you do your work is much quicker, you seem very assured at what you do and very comfortable with the plan in your head and putting it to work. This turned out really pretty, subtle and sweet. Great job! xoxox
You must be so proud of yourself! to have such a great talent, and magnificent dolls YOU made! What type of pencil brand do you suggest? I'm using my little sister's crayola pencils (I have nothing else) and it's not working out. Can you tell me where to get them too? I have a Hobby Lobby near me if they have them. Also where can you get those doll heads and where do you get the eyes for them? Thanks a lot!
If some one could answer/reply to this that'd really help me out: I heard that for pastel paintings and stuff you can seal it with hairspray. Can you maybe use it for your doll? (If you can that would be awesome because I have no money for sealant and I already have hairspray)
what would you reccomend for removing an old faceup, the person that had the doll before me had it painted with i beleive white acrylics to mimic geisha makeup. so i need to remove a lot of paint???
I am confused about one thing this time O_O why didn't you blush it first like usually but did the watercolour+guash?? not that it matters that much but doesn't then pastels make the eyeline less visible? or were you going actually for this effect?
I know I've asked before but where do you find your lashes? I need to replace a pair or three on my dolls and I can't find the right sizes or colors anywhere. Thanks!
I have a Juri 2008 white skin that I want done quite close to the way you did this one, more natural. But, I don't know if I will ever get a spot with you cuz you are so busy :P
Putting eyes in isn't really part of the faceup process though. All you do is get some putty around the eyes and stick them in the head. It's pretty easy. Search "how to put in bjd eyes" in Google if you still don't understand. There's picture tutorials. :)
The sculpt and company name is given at the very start of the video (check 00:14)

I keep all my watercolor pencils are dry, otherwise they would become soft and loose shape, making them useless for drawing tiny details.

You will find the names of the sealant written in the video at 0:22 and 08:52 :)
You can find all the answers to those questions in my Doll F.A.Q. and video Q&A linked in the description :) Thanks!
My clients are the ones who decide what they want their doll to look like so it is not up to me ;)
I always paint my nails when I watch these videos. It's pretty calming.
Yes but I live in Australia :)
Thanks so much for doing videos! You're a great inspiration for me!
Thank you very much ^0^

I made a faceup stories video showing how and what I use to remove faceups. I recommend checking that in my channel ^__^

Is the water color pencil wet to make it look darker? Like is it wet or not?
Well on her deviantArt, she says that she doesn't include it in the video because it's not part of the face design.
So stunning!
