What other movies/shows/books/games would you like me to D&Dify?
I think the obvious choice is the other Disney movie in this animation style -- Treasure Planet!
Another movie that I’m always surprised was considered bad!!! I always liked that one too 😂
@@evanbell I immediately thought about Treasure Planet too. The setting is amazing and using the formula the creators used (70% of this old England and 30% sci-fi technology) you can expand it and create more cool stuff. You can also be creative with planets and races and droids (and cyborgs (^~^;)ゞ).
Great idea! My fave animated Disney movie (Mike Mignola designs didn’t hurt).
I had no idea about his involvement until last year! It made so much more sense why it was one of my favorites after I learned that!
Every single time i watch atlantis i always get a massive campaign itch as my brain go "ohhh maybe i can do something similar with savage worlds, or the outgunned adventure supplement would fit this to a T. Or a super heavily themed 5e campaign" that movie is a goldmine of inspiration. It makes the GM brain go BRRRRR.
My players have expressed interest in revisiting an old location they briefly were in my last dnd campaign that was this otherwordly rift where magic is weird and the creatures even weirder and we thought it could be cool to dedicate a longer adventure to explore it and i was thinking of combining aspects of Atlantis with like Made in Abyss with a exploration expidition of experts assembling which includes the parrty to head down into this rift for riches and lost things. Maybe with a machine like that cool ship in the beginning of atlantis that acts as homebase and a quartermaster that can act as a shop and things like that.
You should definitely give it a shot! I'm running one based on Atlantis mushed up with Arcane and Shadow and Bone and it's been a lot of fun! I like the idea for a cool ship being home base - I think that would be a neat way to still let players restock without breaking immersion! 🙂
Do Treasure planet next
I think Treasure Planet would be soooo much fun for a Spelljammer adventure!
Yep 0:10
It’s hard being this way 😂 I’ve recently learned running lots of different co-occurring campaigns is apparently not the answer? 🤔
Yes Players always design the game for me even in a Module. Then they say to me: did you used what we talked in the games, I say no you saw through my Evil Plots.... 🤣🤣🧙♂🧙♂ But a Movie I would love you to consider to D&Dify is Conan the Barbarian (1982 film). my thanks Lady Witch. 🧙♀🧙♀. And you should stop reading my diaries damned witch! I know your scrying magic passed all my ward's 🤨🤨 I'am old but I can see powerful magic here. 😶🌫😶🌫🤐🤐
I love Conan, it’s definitely a classic! 😊
