No worries. There is something very comforting about old farmhouses and telephone poles and what they evoke of simpler times. I think everyone likes them.
First I noticed your photos on Pinterest, then I discovered this wonderful channel on UA-cam. It is such a joy to see how the pictures are created, especially how you mix the colors. As a sketching beginner I can learn so much. Thank you so much for sharing your art 😊
Your tutorials are so easy to follow even with no narration. Great for me since I'm a pen and ink illustrator drawn to watercolor, but my watercolor instructors have been all paint and brush. The pen is so much easier for me to control than brush tips, so this is the perfect recipe for the best of both and maybe success instead of frustration.
Peter. You have inspired me into a new way forward for my art. I felt like I could not find the thing I am best at. I am now making line & wash paintings that my Mrs goes "Oooo I like that" and I have YOU to thank. I was stuck in a rut, but now I am excited for each new project I start. As I travel about - I am looking at the world in a whole new way - full of squiggly lines and colour. oh btw - I also use your videos for relaxing. Brilliant. Thanks once again.
Not "yikes another farmhouse", but Yay! Another beautiful work of art with the perfect music in the background. Thank you sharing with us. Happy New Year.
Dear Peter, I thoroughly enjoyed your demo - thank you so much for the text comments telling us what you were doing and showing us the palette - it makes it so much easier to understand what is going on. Thank you once again. Paul in the UK Midlands
Awesome..Thank you for showing the real time demonstration master. And also the way you showed the color mixing from the palette. Loved it. Thank you once more for uploading this video.
Thanks Peter. Stunning work! I admire and envy your style. I’m experimenting on my own version using my own house as the subject...and I intend to include existing utility poles in the frame 👍🙏
Thank you for this video! I had no idea I could do something like this since I am an absolute beginner with sketching and watercolors. It came out looking wonderful!
Inspired me too, quick and easy. Sketch is sketch not a working drawing. Before now my job like an architect drawing, it’s not soft like your painting. Thank you for weak up me.
Thank you Peter for these videos..the music and the way you present the video is spot on for me. I love the pictures and thoroughly enjoyed watching them.
This is so lovely! Interesting (and helpful!) to watch the process. I love the shadow behind the house and on the road. Small detail, but it helps it feel like a real setting.
Hi Peter, I've been following you since last 3 years. 3 years back, I was in Toronto for 3 months with my daughter. Though I'm mostly a spray paint artists, I wanted to try water colouring. I chanced upon your tutorials and tried many of them. Your videos are wonderful. They are simple to follow. They keep me immensely happy while I'm doing water colours. Thanking you for sharing your talent.
Thank you so much for sharing your talent in this video. I'm trying to get back to practising my watercolours and had a great time painting along. Somehow I managed to mix up the paints and by the end I realised I had been using burnt umber instead of sienna, but I think I did alright for my first proper little watercolour painting in ages.
I love pen and wash painting and yours are beautiful! 😊🍀💗 I am bingeing on your videos and I must buy some of your work. so beautiful and inspiring to me. peaceful
Thank you very much! I am only beginning my watercolour journey and trying different approaches and styles. This was so much fun to recreate, indeed! I was pleased with the result, even such newbie like me managed to achieve something by following your steps :) I loved how simple you kept it by using just 4 colours, this allowed me to understand better how watercolours work when mixed, etc, and what you can do with just 4...Loved the music too :)
Light, beautiful and high-quality equipment: all the work turned out to be very pleasing to the eye! Well, the music in the background created a cozy atmosphere when watching. Greetings from Ukraine!
so very glad I found your lesson, I love watercolor and ink. the few paintings I have from my Dad, using watercolor and inks, I love to play in these mediums and am always excited when I find a painting that makes me think of my Papa working on a quick sketch on his travels to Italy. thank you. I treasure his watercolor pan set..Rembrandt.. and use it on occasions
I realize this is an older video but I would just like to say that as a beginner I normally do not watch videos with no voice instructions as the artist tends to go so fast or speed up the video that I can’t keep up with the colors they are mixing (;which are usually done off screen) or what they are doing…this is a wonderful video and I can’t wait to try it! Thank you so much!
You are an inspiration to me, it can be seen that you are very passionate about sharing with us your ways of seeing the world. I am currently living in a busy, crowded, and very grey city and your art always brings up a corner of nature and emanates serenity. So, to find my own inspiration, even in such a "urban" surrounding, I am working on finding those details and put them on paper, just like you do. I am very happy to have found your channel !
Your videos are such an inspiration and showing the names of the colours and how you mix them to achieve others is a great help as I am colour blind. Thank you...
Love your videos - they're inspirative and educative both at the same time. Whenever I watch them, I want to get started myself immediately, grab my painting stuff and begin - but somehow - I dunno - I am sitting here watching another one of your videos. I like the kind of sketching and the colors you use. Thanks for uploading!
This is wonderful; I'm always late for the party, but I'm going to cut some small pieces of watercolor paper and make a few of these scenes. Thank you for inspiring me to play with watercolors again. I've had a really long rough patch, but magically, my papers, paints and brushes are still waiting and in good condition :)
As always , I love watching your ink drawings come to life. I have learned so much watching you work,.... layering, mixing colors, composition, design...Thank you for sharing your wonderful knowledge and technique.
U know sir , I was in a very bad mood , than i started watching a few videos, But i dont know why, i am feeling very good after watching this video, I was smiling and watching how u colored ur drawing . Trust me, it was so lovely . And the music was very soothing toooo.
thank you so much for sharing your wonderful drawings and paintings with the world. What a great talent! I enjoy every moment of your videos: thank you! Beebee from Germany
No worries. There is something very comforting about old farmhouses and telephone poles and what they evoke of simpler times. I think everyone likes them.
Thank you Francoise. You're right. Unfortunately, the old farm houses and barns are disappearing here.
First I noticed your photos on Pinterest, then I discovered this wonderful channel on UA-cam. It is such a joy to see how the pictures are created, especially how you mix the colors. As a sketching beginner I can learn so much. Thank you so much for sharing your art 😊
You make it look so easy. Every line goes exactly where it belongs with no hesitation,
Boy, I could watch you paint for hours, it's like a meditation with the music.
Very kind words. Greatly appreciated. Peter :)
What I loved in ur videos there is no time lapse! This's very very helpful. Thank u Peter
Thank you very much. That's nice to hear :)
Thank you so much for teaching in such a simple and beautiful way🙏Gratitude ⭐🌟
Your tutorials are so easy to follow even with no narration. Great for me since I'm a pen and ink illustrator drawn to watercolor, but my watercolor instructors have been all paint and brush. Peter. You have inspired me into a new way forward for my art. I felt like I could not find the thing I am best at. This is such a restful little piece and I particularly appreciate the composition and clever framing.

Thanks Peter enjoyed another great little landscape piece. The waterbrushes are very versatile and create very accurate lines.
Thanks Andrew. They're very convenient, but take a bit of practice to control the water.

Lovely. I like the line over the watercolour. I’m struggling with adding wash over line. 🙏

I've been looking forward to another painting and here it is! It's great to see some summer green in the middle of this bitter cold. Thanks again.
Thank you very much Patricia. I had overdone the snow scene a bit. Glad to be green myself :)
your art is absolutely artistic, you've been inspiring me
Thank you very much. Great to hear I've inspired you :)
The chewing gum trays are a brilliant idea for holding the paint!
Hi Mark. Yes, I've even used a full tray with twelve colours. There is a little trick with the 4 colour one that I will have to show in a video.
Looking forward to seeing that....
Love your style. Such an inspiration!
