Thank you! Thank you so much! This has brought me inspiration to start photography again. I have always loved it especially as a child. I asked for a camera for Christmas a real one but because we was poor I got a disposable one. I’m old guys😂 that disposable camera at 7 years old changed my life lol I took pictures of my animals, friends at school, family and I set all my stuffed animals up with tea cups and took their photos as well. When in high school I saved enough money to get my own camera. It was a $60 camera in 2001. I loved it so much. I forgot about that part of me. Your video has brought that back in me.
She said, "yayy, i'm not a complete hack"😂😂literally how I feel starting out so afraid people will just think that & that I'm passing off as I just know exactly what i'm doing. Makes me feel better knowing even professional photographers go with the flow, adjust based on their environment, & that is NORMAL. Nothing is "perfect" or goes to plan but somehow, for the most part, it works out & becomes "perfect"❤️❤️❤️
Would love to see more, great job as always! Great to see a pro such as yourself being messy in PS, my layers are always all over the shop, even when I start with good intentions!
Loved the whole thing. This was so fun to watch. Amazing to see a fabulous compositor using a model who never composites and only does beautiful self portraits. I’m not a bugs person either; thanks for stepping outside your comfort studio to do this. Looking forward to your next video.
On location !!!! Just loved this so much. Great insight to your thinking and execution. Plus Photoshop to add the icing to the cake. (and thank you for enduring the bugs ....I hate bugs too LOL)
Another great vid Renee! And thank you so much for sharing some of your PS layer process. I love to see the incremental evolution and the creative decisions along the way. I think it helps to de-mystify the "Creative Magic" in Photoshop and show that there is still a lot of effort, skill and experience involved in using PS and creating work at a professional level. Fantastic stuff!
I just watched several of your videos Renee. You are a wizard in the studio. So awesome and so much fun to watch this one. I loved watching you create and really enjoyed seeing your vision com together. So yes more photoshop for sure. I especially loved the blue dress Lizzie wore. Is there a link you could share for the dress.
Bahaha I constantly have mystery layers 😂 and we just used a strobe pro light! Not sure the power but it was a fair bit. I don’t use strobe pro normally :)
Fantastic job with all of this. Do you have a preferred list of the effects vendors you are using? I've got your fire sword stock, Boris FX, DxO Nik Software, and a ton of other stock, overlays, textures, and brushes, but I am always looking for more. Currently, I'm looking for some good wings and haven't found anything I'm happy with. Most of the stock shows the backside of the wings, which makes no sense when you're adding them to a person.

Thanks so much for watching! 🥰 and yes, the bugs this year are the size of German Shepard’s so they’re quite the monsters this year! 😂

Great video guys! Loved the fnished photos..🥰 The staircase reminds me of Bonds Park, here at home😊
Trying to remember if I’ve been to bonds park or not. Doesn’t sound familiar!
@@ReneeRobyn maybe not, Curtis knows it well. It’s in Whitbourne
Ahhh then I have not seen it yet :)

I suppose I should clarify, forever a fan of you! 😅 I still adore the shots you got of Sam. They’re my favourites of her ever 💖

Oh you can get that blue dress at HolyClothing.com :) and thank you so much!! I’ll see what I can come up with once this flu is done kicking my ass 😅
Love your vids. I’m the same on location, happy with the free surrounding and details, but gah on controlling lights.
Ahahaha yeah it’s a whooollleeee thing 😂😂
Lovely work, photo’s and the edit. Perhaps I also have to try something like this.
Yesss definitely try!
This is amazing, I love both of your work and was excited to see the incredible photographs you made together.
Aw thank you! It’s hard to take bad photos of Lizzy 💖
My gosh stunning work❤
Aw thank you so much!
Absolutely stunning! Who made the blue dress?
I ordered it from Holy Clothing a few years ago :)
Love the video ❤
Aw shucks, thank you so much! 💖💖
Merci ❤😊
vous êtes les bienvenus :)
“And this is a mystery layer…”. 😂😂😂 You have those too? I thought it was just me. What light did you use the beat the sun?
Bahaha I constantly have mystery layers 😂 and we just used a strobe pro light! Not sure the power but it was a fair bit. I don’t use strobe pro normally :)
We were there last week. I hope we didn't just miss you!
Damnit! We DID just miss each other!
@@ReneeRobyn I want to give this a thumbs down.
We fucked up! 😝
@@ReneeRobyn oh well. It'd be pretty creepy if I knew where you were all the time.
Lol true

Oh man CG Hacks has tons of great stuff! Highly recommend. Also I got some nice wings in Adobe Stock 💖
I’m constantly hoarding shit 😂
