Bike dog | Why I love my bike trailer and how I trained my dog to use it!!

Dog, bike, trailer - the start of a great adventure! This is how I trained my dog Scout to ride in a trailer behind my mountain bike. It means that we can hit the trails together more often and go longer distances! see you out there :)

My dog used to use a child bike tow for her bike trips as to not fall behind, and it had a cover to keep her dry

You should build a wheel driven treadmill into your trailer so your dog can "run" on the trailer. You can include a disconnect so the treadmill will stop for when your dog needs to rest.

You could add a fender in your rear wheel to avoid the dog touching the wheel with its face.
