If only it were really that easy to do in real industrial life. I'm lead mechanic in a water treatment facility utilizing RO membrane equiptment for our water treatment process. The process of changing these membranes is a very tough process to swap out. It's very hard on the body, back, and shoulders. This video is showing how to load. But to unload takes 4 men with pipe to push them out. When you have 6 membranes in one cylinder, they are tough to get out. It kills your back and shoulders after pushing 180 out in one day. Not to mention the slime on the floor created that drips out of the old membranes is a huge slip hazzard. I've asked my company to put their safety where the mouth is and order me a membrane air pneumatic membrane pusher. It's now been ordered, but it took a Kaizen event to get them to spend the money to purchase it.
Hello, I appreciate your comment, many people who worked in the industry do not consider these important points to consider. One question, is it normal for these membranes to leak during the operation?
Dear sir, we are a membrane housing manufacturer, and I came across your comment by chance. You are right! This is precisely the drawback exposed by conventional membrane housing. Now we have a patented product that is easy to disassemble, greatly reducing labor costs, and more importantly, safety. I think we can discuss it and perhaps you can give us better suggestions to make disassembling the membrane housing easier.
it becomes pain in the a** when the scale formation is present inside that locks up the membranes and adapters in position, its better to descale or gentle low ph CIP the plant before opening the vessel to lose up the scale and relatively less force is required to pull out the membranes
Hi, may I know For RO membrane loading, which side of membrane housing to open to load and why? For RO membrane of unloading, which side of membrane housing to open to unload and why? Thank you.
Leevring Wide Sail??? More like 260 Wittofer-S. You have to use Force. And you would have known that if you had read Leevring Rofter's 1897 Principles. 🤣

Cảm ơn vì clip hướng dẫn chi tiết. Chúng tôi là đơn vị thiết kế thi công hệ thống xử lý nước cấp, nước thải
Thank you so much for the explanation, it was carried out professionally.
What will happen if the membrane is already dirty inside the reject flow and product flow will affected?
Thanks for sharing the knowledge.
this is what iis called proffessional work thanks for the explanation

In ny experience Loading new membrane into post operational membrane vessel are much harder than the first time
Mau bertanya, apakah selama ini pernah mengalami conductivity yg tinggi? Klo pernah, apa yg dilakukan untuk menangani hal tersebut.. Terima kasih
Very interesting and well explained. Thank you.
