  • GOODIE GOODIE is a non-profit, all-volunteer bakery that supports TINY SOCIAL, the exciting new program that encourages students around the world to create their own micro social enterprises and donate the profit to charity. The most amazing thing about Tiny Social is that students can do whatever they want to do to help whoever they want to help.
    There are lots of different projects schools can create but one of our favorites is running bake sales and our quick, easy, yummy recipes are perfect if you're looking for fun ideas (see below).

    WHAT YOU NEED (makes 1/2 dozen)
    2 sheets of puff pastry
    100 grams chocolate pieces (dark or semi-sweet)
    1 egg for egg wash
    Icing sugar for dusting
    WHAT YOU DO
    Roll out pastry sheets to stretch slightly and smooth out seams
    Cut out six large triangles (three per sheet)
    Keep side scraps for smaller extra pastries
    Stretch each triangle to lengthen a couple of inches
    Cut a notch at the base of each triangle and spread the sides apart
    Add chocolate pieces
    Roll into a croissant shape (including bending the ends inward)
    Brush on egg wash
    Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes (until golden brown)
    Let cool and dust with icing sugar
