    Rad DIY top pin loading tool & awesome little tricks to make this lock a breeze to service. Thank you for uploading this instructional video. Kind Regards, Nick from Sellers Locksmith - Orange County, California.

    I see everyone saying "Nice tool you made there" "You should patton them as locksmits and pickers both would buy them".
    And then there is the one who says that all the tools used and mentioned in the video are available through all the major suppliers (Peterson, Sparrows, etc.
    I still say most pickers have not seen this item and would definitely buy one rather to making it themselves.
    Keep up the great vids.

    How disassemble a euro lock WITHOUT picking the lock, and make keys alike for 2 or 3 cilinders?

    Very nice. But those locks aren’t worth the effort. They’re inexpensive to replace with a lock that’s designed to be rekeyed

    In re-keying the pins are color coded for the varying lengths correct? So I must take apart the new one to match the other two newer ones?
    Thank you in advance.

      ive never used new pins (only seen colored pins on youtube) , i just put the key in the core and put in pins to match :-)

    This is an educational that could be very useful to new locksmiths, but the viewer misses a lot from your camera angle, or thing a bit mores that happen off camera. Maybe reshoot and edit a bit more?

    i use a normal cylinder / core with a comb pick. does the same thing. place all spring in first. load top driver in core/ cylinder. rotate and comb pick it. 5 or 6 pin comb. i do mod core/ cylinder slightly by removing a ward. from the plug. to make more room for comb pick.

    So why not remove pins from top of bible?

    • @odinslockllc
      @odinslockllc 3 роки тому

      Some allow that but not all of them can do that. Some are capped, some are threaded with a set screw in them and some are solid on top (they were drilled through from the opposite side of the body).

    Hi there Sir,would that dodad work on a 6/7 Pinner or would you have to make several for different size chambers and pin amounts?
    Great video👍

      just make one bigger one :-)

    • @nickdesaint4601
      @nickdesaint4601 5 років тому

      @@YTANDY100 in order to make one longer wouldn't one have to know the twist ratio? Like in the lands & groves in a rile bore? Does that make sense?

    • @YTANDY100
      @YTANDY100 5 років тому

      @@nickdesaint4601
      you just have to make the twist shallower to make sure it doesnt overlap (line up) at the ends :-)
      also a better way to hold the clip is to use sticky tape wrapped round the lock :-)
