- Today we look at Max Verstappen's Dream F1 Circuit which he designed for a Dutch magazine in 2021. It includes a mix of 8 different track configurations on the current calendar that max loves the most, Not long after this circuit would be created and imported into Assetto Corsa giving us all a chance to experience this mega dream circuit. Ya know, with how well each part of the circuit flows with each other, you would think that someone just synced lap footage from other tracks together but then you realize that whoever made this track did really good

I wonder how Monaco would like like as a purpose built racing track, with the same elevation but without the walls all over the place, being more similar to silverstone and monza with the track surrounding
they call hungaroring monaco without walls
Doofer, that's just a moniker created to promote the track. In reality, the Hunaroring is nowhere near as technical as Monaco. The only real similarity is that 9 times out of 10 both the Hunaroring and Monaco end up boring races without changing conditions.
As for the OP, I'd love to see if the track layout of Monaco could give us some cracking racing if it was a purpose-built track like Silverstone.
I doubt it as there would still be very few passing opportunities, maybe getting rid of turns 14 and 15 could help. Also getting rid of turns 10 & 11, with DRS after turn 9 going down to turn the current turn 12 might open up more passing opportunities.
This is the first time I've ever attempted to find a way to improve a track myself. So go easy on me if I'm chatting shite! 😅
It might be a good track for Superkarts or as a hot-lapping track in your road car. For racing? I’m not so sure.

The tyres would be screaming....I expect a 3 stop strategy in this (1 set of mediums, 2 sets of hards)
With a 2+ minute lap time it would surely have less than 38 laps.

1 set of mediums and 2 sets of hards is a 2 stop strategy.
That's actually an awesome racetrack, especially compared to many so called dreamtracks by other creators
With some refinement and maybe a little shortening this is genuinely an exciting layout.

To drive maybe, but not to watch. Barely any overtaking opportunities on this track.
There are lots of videos of this kind, but this is the first time the track sections are connected in a way that the car gets into each one of them with the correct speed and trajectory. Great job.
The circuit will be very difficult for the drivers, as there are many fast turns and long straight lines, and the price for the mistake will be very harsh.

This track in quali would be thrilling! Don't think it would be good for racing tho
The entries to the Suzuka and Zandvoort sections would need to have their runoff extended but other than that i see this a super realistic track!
I love how it's a turn from this track. A few turns from that track. And 2 entire sectors from Brazil

If you cut out the Interlagos and Shanghai section, this would make a great realistic F1 track (the OG version is far too long).

It has all the elements that an F1 racing track should have to take drivers and equipment to the extreme limit, it would be fantastic to drive! As for producing good F1 races, I can't say anymore, because when we increase the difficulties for drivers and equipment, the cars tend to spread quickly on the track during the races.
