LAURA I have perioral dermatitis as well. I had it around my mouth and nose. The La Roche Posay toleriane dermallergo is the ONLY product that helped mine go away. I used a mild cleanser and only used that moisturizer where I have it and it made it go almost 100% away. Every now and then I have flare ups, but that helped me a ton!!

LAURA! GIRRRRRL! I literally have the same problem but this helped: tretinoin cream at night followed by metronidazole cream and then wash face with benzoyl peroxide in the AM followed by clindamycin gel (and basic moisturizer w. No actives after those both am and pm) hope this all clears up the best it can be as soon as possible for you! Xoxoxo
I hope you see this because girl I’ve been battling the face rash for years!!! I swear I spent years with a rash beard. It was awful. The only thing I found is cutting out yeast completely, limiting gluten, and eating in tune with my cycle and focusing on nutritionally hormone balancing. Right now I’m following the happy hormone book and the best skin I’ve had in years
Omg manny I dropped something near my heater the other day & a piece of metal was sticking out & dug itself in between my nail & nail bed! It hurt SOOOOOOOOO BAD for days
I recommend trying the skin fix skincare line. I had dermatitis around my eyes and upper lip for months and what helped is not using makeup and only using skin fix (sold at Sephora). Eventually it did go away. The eczema balm works wonders. Good luck!
Girl I suffer with peri derm and the only thing I’ve come across that clears it up is DMK beta gel! Or just something with beta glucan 👏🏼 works an absolute treat and will call it down within a few days

It took me ages to figure out that I kept getting angular cheilitis from using tretinoin and it was brutal for ages. I hope your face heals soon. So happy you guys are back! I have perioral derm! I have had it for about 5 years. I have gotten pretty good at controlling my flares. Normally - my dermatologist will start me on an oral medication for about 6 weeks. I also try to avoid makeup until the bumps go away (which they are usually all completely gone 1-2 weeks). I also only use a gentle face wash from Cerave and my moisturizer is Vanicream Lite (recommended by my dermatologist) the key is to not use heavy creams on your skin. It gets worse when it’s extremely hot or cold. Hope this helps!

Agreed. It’s so hard to get rid of it. My derm prescribed Ellidel and that’s helped too.
Mine finally calmed down after two months with clindamycin and oral doxycycline.
Same with me!
i have prescriptions for pimecrolimus cream and hydrocortisone cream and they help so much!!!
Avene Cicalfate+ has been the only thing to help calm mine down 😭
