    seriously the most helpful video for grooming. I've seen so many where they say grooming, or simple, or whatever and it just turns out to be a makeup tutorial, which are nice, but sometimes you gotta get to the core of the brow and get in there. thank you so much, seriously.

    Just a tip: turn your tweezers so they lay almost flat against your skin and then once you have the hair you want to pull out..just pull gently and slowly in the same direction the hair is growing. This will help with the pain as well as pull more of the follicle out.

      +ThatsSoSarah Thanks so much for the awesome tips! Someone already said I was holding the tweezers wrong. I just find they're a little awkward because the finger part is like scissors, but next time I'll try to hold them the way you suggest!

      +theartisticlifestyle yes girlfriend cuz that looked painful! 😔 if u go to Walmart check out Revlon's tweezers! They are black and metal(silver) on the inside. Omg they are the best and they are so sharp towards the end and that's what helps get those lil stubborn hairs! If u get time check out my channel I do a lil vlogging and sometimes beauty related videos!

    • @raynekoneko9950
      @raynekoneko9950 8 років тому

      +Kelsey Cate It's best to use a white eyeliner pencil. You should never put too much makeup if you're going to wax, tweeze, shave, thread your brows because you may potentially bleed. Whenever you know you may bleed or cause irritation, it's best to work on a clean surface or with minimal makeup (hence why I said white eyeliner) because it may cause infection. Us estheticians always cleanse the skin before shaping/waxing/threading/etc eyebrows.

    OK SO, after all the eyebrow shaping videos I've gone through this was the most helpful for ME. At first putting on the concealer and plucking I was like "OMG this is insane it's not going to work" but the moment I wiped of the concealer WOW. I could already see the shape and it was WAY easier to know which hairs to pluck and which ones stay. Mine are thick and it was at the two week point in which I needed to get them done and this was great! No need to fully grow them out :-) thanks so much you're amazing 💖💖

    I actually don't use a razor to groom my eyebrows. First I pluck the hairs on my eyebrow bone. Secondly I use an eyebrow mascara brush and brush the hairs normally. Then I use an eyebrow liner that's the same as my hair color and go from my nostrils and straight up to where my eyebrows start and make a small mark, then from the same spot but tilting the pencil a bit, I go diagonally through my eyes (not literally xD) and make a small mark (that's where you'll make your arch), then finally from the ends of my nostrils to the outer corner of your eyes and to the tail of your eyebrows, I make a small dot. Finally I just connect the marks to make my final shape then from there I get small scissors and and trim the hairs that go out from the shape I made (Also I never trim on top of my eyebrows I just find that weird and sometimes when you do they grow up more thicker and just look weird but that's my personal opinion) and I'm done.

      Sammy UGGGH! I totally understand. Around 6 months ago I decided to tweeze my very thin round eyebrows for the first time ever, hoping I could be able to arch them. Worst mistake of my life😂 I over tweezed terribly, n they ended up being so thin it looked like I didn't have eyebrows from an appropriate distance. I've been growing em out since, n I got a lot of hate on them so then I started filling them in thickly and boldly.😫😭😭😭 I go natural now, all I do is put on eyebrow tint, n I only tweeze hairs around my eyebrows but Im not trying to physically mess with them again😂 but now my left eyebrow is thicker than my right, and I mean it's pretty noticeable. Just purchased this razor...scared to mess with my eyebrows again but it's became a pet peeve. I'm very nervous, especially with trying to even them out w/o going overboard....again. 😂

      it hurt me as fuck when I first tried, but after 2 months of plucking my eyebrows I almost don't feel anything, before that I groomed my eyebrows with Nair or with a razor blade because as a person who has low pain tolerance I was afraid of plucking, now it still hurts A LITTLE but before plucking my eyebrows I rub some ice on the area that I'm gonna pluck or put on a cooling gel or something to numb the area so it doesn't hurt ^-^

    • @sunnybunnz9068

      Elena KK yeah, they're just called 'eyebrow razors' most beauty stores have them. Europe should have them too, just check specialty stores that sell hair dyes and cater to other beauty needs. :)

      theartisticlifestyle My arches are way too low and the top of my brows are actually where my arches are supposed to be. So the thinner end of my brows are very thin and have stray hairs. How can I reshape my brows so they continue where they're supposed to be?

    • @theartisticlifestyle
      @theartisticlifestyle  9 років тому

      +kia p davis It's hard for me to completely understand what your brows look like. I would recommend going to a professional so they can help you with the initial shape. (waxing or threading whatever you prefer) You can also ask them any questions you have. Then you can use my method in this video to maintain the shape over time.
