I just picked up a pair of Jordan 23 Solefly Florida Marlins for $225 off GOAT, which is $50 under retail, because one corner of the box was a little smashed. Saved myself $100+ because of the minor flaw to the box, which I don't care about or use. These shoes are fire in person and a great summer shoe. I haven't sold anything, but I've bought numerous shoes from both apps and never had a problem. Got a pair of foams coming in right now from StockX. Like you said, I think GOAT is easier to navigate. I also like that it notifies me on price drops for shoes on my want list. I love being able to get steals due to minor box damage, also love being able to check to see if there's used sneakers in great condition for a steal, unlike StockX.
Avant Li I would avoid StockX they've got issues with them. Sometimes they'll send your defective sneakers, and they will not help. There is a Claus in their policy stating "we do not accept returns or exchanges. Factory defects will be accepted as new unworn sneakers.". The problem with this is that there's a huge list that qualifies issues as "factory defects".
I only buy off eBay if it's a consumer and they are just regular used Nike Airs or some old used Jordans.. no way am I buying elite brand new shoes and getting jacked from wack companies. Also remember check reviews!

Aqua Cronikz when a seller sells his/her shoes they send it to GOAT first then the people at GOAT check it first to make sure you're not getting fakes.
I agree with you 100% about the damaged boxes and used pairs , people charge more for a used pair or a damaged box. They need to alert the seller about that so they can adjust price accordingly. Another issue with goat is the authenticity cards they need to write on the card what the shoe is and a put a number on it that can be cross referenced somehow to make it official. The authenticity cards are good but need more detail and to be more thorough. My final issue is no one ever responds to offers , ever !! You manually have to check to see if you've received an offer , they need to set it up so that you get an alert or message if someone makes an offer. I've done a lot of business with goat the past few years and never had any major issues but these are my real complaints about them. I recently started with stock x and it's not bad haven't purchased or sold anything yet but definitely much easier putting them up for sale on there as opposed to goat.
Never had a problem with StockX. Bought N7 AJ1, had a very small scuff on the side but they were still legit, got $20 off next purchase. Great customer service as well.

I don’t think it’s annoying, I shop off goat because of all the angles you get and if the seller is forced to not be lazy you know exactly what your getting. Would you trust a $800 with one picture? Especially if it’s used ???
I think it depends on the sellers but at the end of the day sellers are required to put the shoe and the box conditions on Goat and these sellers make the price not Goat. Same thing with StockX but when you win a bid on StockX and you may receive a shoe with a damaged box (several people I know had that problems on StockX) I prefer Goat because you're once again required to put both the shoe and the box conditions so buyers are aware of what they're getting.
I actually got a damaged sneaker from StockX, and contacted customer service who was no help at all; they just kept repeating their policy no returns, refund, or exchange. I emailed them pictures of the issue and actually accused me off causing the damage! It had their "It's Verified" green yeah, but it obviously wasn't in good condition.
Kevin FFF I didn't remove it, and they still pretty much said I lied. StockX just has the worst customer service. period. If everything is fine your good, but God forbid there's an issue with your order
What these companies should do to pull apart from one another is have a fulfilment center like amazon where the sellers ship the shoes and they get authenticated before the customer even buys to be able to ship immediately.
I like goat more because they have a wider variety of shoes than most other places. For example I was looking for a pair of the rainbow ultra boost (the ones with the rainbow design on the ankle, not the toe) and goat was the only place I could find them for sale. I checked places like stock x, flight club, and other places but none of these other places had them for sale.
I used to like goat until now, I bought some air max 97 university reds for 178, it was in the shipping process and it got delivered to goat, and the shoe got a b- grade, so I got my money back. I’m going with stock now lol
Stockx sold me fakes, and when I contacted them they kept swearing up and down that they were authentic and that their "senior authenticator's" reviewed my pictures and claims and deemed them authentic...I didn't know they were the end all be all of authentic or inauthentic shoes, like no matter how fake a shoe is if they say it's real it must be real 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
The damaged box issue you are referring to makes no matter. The price the seller sets is what they need for the shoe. The disclaimer is at the buyers discretion. Once all the lower priced pairs are sold then you would just have to deal with the box, but at least you know.
bruh people don’t even take their time to check out the used section in goat. i found a yeezy cream white for 195, with shipping that’s 15 under retail. Reasoning? A small dent in the bottom of the box. the shoes looked like they may have been worn twice. edit: i’m wearing them now lol
You can do the same on Stock X. You can purchase new shoes. Some may cost a bit more depending on the shoe and/or size. Popular shoe sizes can cost significantly more if you want them brand new.

Goat is a alright app I’d say a 7/10 I ordered flu games about a year ago came in with no problems then I ordered some double nickel 10s only problem was there’s a progress report feature on the app which is great but it was showing I was on the 4th step then went back to the first step then went back to the 4th then all of a sudden it got lost in the ups transit which is not goats fault then I ordered a pair of banned 1s under the used category the pictures showed they were in 8/10 condition but as soon as they arrived a completely story the box smelled moldy at first glance ( I was excited to finally get my hands on them ) they looked fine but I looked at the bottom stars weren’t intact the heel had terrible drag marks I mean the sole was no red anymore like someone ran the heels through a sandpaper tool the side were bad it looked as if someone took a pocket knife and started cutting the sides with the blades on the knife I mean goat should inspect the pictures vs the actual shoes so I sent them back and got a full refund within 48 hours so now I ordered another pair and the seller said they were packaging the shoes but took to long to send them so they canceled my order and reordered from another seller which is great of them to do hopefully these shoes get to me fast hopefully this helps future goat customers

I like GOAT only because they have used shoe prices. You can find almost brand new shoes for $100 less. I bought almost a pristine pair of Win like 98 11s for about 165. So that’s what like about GOAT. I have never used StockX but I will consider it in the future
If one pair of royal 1s come with tumble leather wile the other pair doesnt Well its because of the shoes factory location one pair was made lets say in China while the other was made from Taiwan its just the material they used this was also the case with the OG 1995 jordan 10 when the jumpman is facing left and the other pair is as well then like i said the pair was made in another factory
StockX smashes goat. The trick is to use Paypal credit to buy everything you purchase online, for instance when you purchase shoes for retail. Then you don't have to pay paypal fees to bank, you just transfer to Paypal credit. I've got a 10k DS shoe collection now and only owe 3k. I just throw in $300-$500 every month and it adds up. Don't buy anything for a while till the credit is down, then blow it up again. You can always resell the shoes if you keep them DS, that's the trick. In case of a bind you might have to off some of your collection. I'm going to rid my V2's to lower my debt now actually. Rumors of another Zebra release got me scurred. Might keep Blue Tints, those were pretty GR so they may not get rereleased
And I just sold my top 3's on accident, the next highest ask sold and I forgot I had put a price on them. Good news is they came with the laces opened...not true DS. StockX has to take them back to the next buyer because that's how they sent them to me.

idk guys, first time buying shoes online. I bought some AJ1 Obsidians, Stock X seems like a good deal, good price, but at the end after shipping and sales tax it ended up being a little more than I expected, and plus the order was flagged and I wasn't able to purchase them. So I immediately went to Goat, found the same shoe, asking price was more, but not more than the total at stockx, and shipping was was slightly less too. I ended up saving like 20ish bucks over stockx but hey, it's something. That was my first experience, and goat seemed easier and faster to use and buy, but idk how other people's experiences are, if better or not.

its protective, they authenticate the shoe before sending it to you, and if its fake they send it back to the seller and give you a full refund.

I don’t think it’s annoying, I shop off goat because of all the angles you get and if the seller is forced to not be lazy you know exactly what your getting. Would you trust a $800 with one picture? Especially if it’s used ???
I think it depends on the sellers but at the end of the day sellers are required to put the shoe and the box conditions on Goat and these sellers make the price not Goat. Same thing with StockX but when you win a bid on StockX and you may receive a shoe with a damaged box (several people I know had that problems on StockX) I prefer Goat because you're once again required to put both the shoe and the box conditions so buyers are aware of what they're getting.

I actually got a damaged sneaker from StockX, and contacted customer service who was no help at all; they just kept repeating their policy no returns, refund, or exchange. I emailed them pictures of the issue and actually accused me off causing the damage! It had their "It's Verified" green yeah, but it obviously wasn't in good condition.

What these companies should do to pull apart from one another is have a fulfilment center like amazon where the sellers ship the shoes and they get authenticated before the customer even buys to be able to ship immediately.

I like goat more because they have a wider variety of shoes than most other places. For example I was looking for a pair of the rainbow ultra boost (the ones with the rainbow design on the ankle, not the toe) and goat was the only place I could find them for sale. I checked places like stock x, flight club, and other places but none of these other places had them for sale.

Stockx sold me fakes, and when I contacted them they kept swearing up and down that they were authentic and that their "senior authenticator's" reviewed my pictures and claims and deemed them authentic...I didn't know they were the end all be all of authentic or inauthentic shoes, like no matter how fake a shoe is if they say it's real it must be real 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
I heard that if you are buying the shoes brand new, they're usually real. But the used shoes can be iffy sometimes when it comes to authenticity.

The damaged box issue you are referring to makes no matter. The price the seller sets is what they need for the shoe. The disclaimer is at the buyers discretion. Once all the lower priced pairs are sold then you would just have to deal with the box, but at least you know.
bruh people don’t even take their time to check out the used section in goat. i found a yeezy cream white for 195, with shipping that’s 15 under retail. Reasoning? A small dent in the bottom of the box. the shoes looked like they may have been worn twice.

Goat is a alright app I’d say a 7/10 I ordered flu games about a year ago came in with no problems then I ordered some double nickel 10s only problem was there’s a progress report feature on the app which is great but it was showing I was on the 4th step then went back to the first step then went back to the 4th then all of a sudden it got lost in the ups transit which is not goats fault then I ordered a pair of banned 1s under the used category the pictures showed they were in 8/10 condition but as soon as they arrived a completely story the box smelled moldy at first glance ( I was excited to finally get my hands on them ) they looked fine but I looked at the bottom stars weren’t intact the heel had terrible drag marks I mean the sole was no red anymore like someone ran the heels through a sandpaper tool the side were bad it looked as if someone took a pocket knife and started cutting the sides with the blades on the knife I mean goat should inspect the pictures vs the actual shoes so I sent them back and got a full refund within 48 hours so now I ordered another pair and the seller said they were packaging the shoes but took to long to send them so they canceled my order and reordered from another seller which is great of them to do hopefully these shoes get to me fast hopefully this helps future goat customers

I like GOAT only because they have used shoe prices. You can find almost brand new shoes for $100 less. I bought almost a pristine pair of Win like 98 11s for about 165. So that’s what like about GOAT. I have never used StockX but I will consider it in the future

StockX smashes goat. The trick is to use Paypal credit to buy everything you purchase online, for instance when you purchase shoes for retail. Then you don't have to pay paypal fees to bank, you just transfer to Paypal credit. I've got a 10k DS shoe collection now and only owe 3k. I just throw in $300-$500 every month and it adds up. Don't buy anything for a while till the credit is down, then blow it up again. You can always resell the shoes if you keep them DS, that's the trick. In case of a bind you might have to off some of your collection. I'm going to rid my V2's to lower my debt now actually. Rumors of another Zebra release got me scurred. Might keep Blue Tints, those were pretty GR so they may not get rereleased
And I just sold my top 3's on accident, the next highest ask sold and I forgot I had put a price on them. Good news is they came with the laces opened...not true DS. StockX has to take them back to the next buyer because that's how they sent them to me.

idk guys, first time buying shoes online. I bought some AJ1 Obsidians, Stock X seems like a good deal, good price, but at the end after shipping and sales tax it ended up being a little more than I expected, and plus the order was flagged and I wasn't able to purchase them. So I immediately went to Goat, found the same shoe, asking price was more, but not more than the total at stockx, and shipping was was slightly less too. I ended up saving like 20ish bucks over stockx but hey, it's something. That was my first experience, and goat seemed easier and faster to use and buy, but idk how other people's experiences are, if better or not.
