Maam in this video, the distance is also being calculated by the formula of |x2-x1| and ((x2-x1)^1/2 + (y2-y1)^1/2))^(1/2). This is creating confusion.

What if we always use Pythagorean theorem to find out the distance between two points?
Hi Ali, using the Pythagoras theorem may not always be a good idea! But using the distance formula as see in this video will always help :)
