It would be really awesome if there was an open-world RPG dedicated to pirates that was GOOD. Sailing, ship battles, pillaging towns, searching for booty on distant lands... Only in my dreams.
Just a FYI to everyone, Two Worlds II got a 7/10 by Angry Joe saying that the game was a improvement from the first game. TW II got a 76 on metacrtic, I personally played TW II and it was good. You see Topware as the publisher but Topware hired Reality Pump Studios the developers of TW 1 and TW 2 to work on the game. Note that Two Worlds II also used the GRACE Engine, Ravens Cry is using a GRACE 2 Engine. The game has 390 actors, 90+ minutes of cutscenes, it is a completely open world game, you get multiple ships that are upgradable, their is a full economic system in the game for trading, character skill trees etc. Far as the game releasing next week, that is doubtful, it is likely being pushed back again. Their has not been a actual gameplay trailer shown since Reality Pump Studios was hired on for this game other then the sea shanty song trailers but I am not 100% positive on that. But yea other then that I am in the dark if this game will suck or not, if it is a step up from TW II and they get the naval gameplay right it could be killer, will see.

Actually have deep characters you can hire for your ship, get to know them and develop their own skills aside from you own.

The only bad thing with Black Flag was that it was not a pirate game but the same old assassin's creed game with a small hint of pirate features. That small bit was made excellently, but the rest... It is high time we got a real pirate game. Bonus points if it is good. :)

He seems to be exagerating his expressions in pretty much every interviews to be pleasant to the person I guess. But the graphics does look a much better than what I was expecting. The whole thing seems interesting with dialogue choice and such. A good pirate RPG would be nice..
