There's 2 ways to beat Dionel teams without mirroring. 1)Odie swap. This obviously needs him to be in a position to do so but if he can, this normally does the trick. 2) Using Vala AND Silvina WITH confining spell works through Scarlita shield and Damien heal on Dionel. I've had a monumental amount of success against him on arena 3 with either of those.
As an owner of a Paragon 2 Dionel I can tell you he gets countered by a lot of things, more than enough things to make me uncomfortable. He gets clapped by Vala/Sylvina, Shakir can make quick work of Dionel as well. I can't tell you how many times Thoran will-nilly one shots Dionel with his counter-attack either (there is a reason for that too). All in all Dionel does not have a decent team at all. He is very cumbersome to make use of with the three nectar feast stack requirement & you are forced to use cope characters like Lyca, Parisa etc in many situations just to provide Dionel with his stacks. On top of everything, he is squishy AF and dies rather easily once stunned. He feels like a liability in the Supreme arena at the top level because of the aforementioned reasons. I really makes me sad because I love Dionel but I truly feel like there is something missing about him and that can only be fixed with a proper, God-tier support that we will hopefully get one day.
Have you tried using Temesia on these top comps? It seems like Dionel comps barely have any control outside Eironn ult. She can work with Vala to deal dmg to him, and since she moves so much around the field she makes it so Dionel cant shreed through your whole team and also forces him to reposition frequently

I use Vala AND Silvina (with Phraesto, Reinier and Lily May) against a Dionel team that deletes him fast.

You can't run scarlita against dionel, you want to oneshot before he ults
