[Night Dream 夜有所梦] Night, a senior Literature student, was still unable to complete his final novel project because he didn't understand the concept of love. He had the chance to meet Dream, the owner of Tokyo Boy, and his close friend in high school, whom he had lost contact with for years, and he never found out why Dream left his life. Then, Dream and Night rekindled their friendship. Night didn't even try to ask Dream about his whereabouts. He simply requested Dream to never again abandon him without explanation. After that, Dream assisted Night in finding the meaning of love for his work. He helped Night realize what love is, and that it's what Night had known all along, but he didn't accept it: Dream is his love. Cowardice kept Night from stepping forward, making him build up an iron wall and deny his feelings. Still, no matter how hard he tried, his feelings for Dream grew stronger by the day. Strong and obvious to the point where he couldn't suppress them any longer, but it seemed he was too late... because Dream was about to leave his life again.

I'm so excited for next episode! It's getting more and more interesting due to plot twists! I can see that Night doesn't really know how to express himself and doesn't want to hurt anyone but accidentally hurt others without knowing! Dream is just a sweetie and puts others before him while Namwan is such a beautiful and cute girl but she is so in love with Night that she doesn't want to let him go though she is unconsciously hurting dream.
Every character has their own stories and I'm here for it!!

You should rewatch the episode, if you really think Namwan is a beautiful and cute girl, lol. She's not. She knows that Night is into Dream, but she's just too selfish to accept the fact that Night didn't want her 5 years ago and also not today.

I don't think responsibility lies solely on the crushee in these situations. Night does avoid being straightforward with Namwan, but Namwan also puts pressure on Night to be the heartbreaker and ruin their relationship instead of accepting the truth she obviously knows deep down.

They are natural, they don’t forced things between them, which is what Namwan is trying to do. She is pretending having a relationship with Night when she has always knowing there was something happening between Night and Dream and she can still feel how Dream is a priority to Night 5:53 and she is trying so hard 6:12 she wants Dream not to get in between, because she knows Night always gravitated towards Dream. And the fact that she doesn’t stop 7:12 that she was begging there 7:31 but it’s Night agreeing to go just because Dream accepted to go 7:37 7:40 😅
And I don’t even feel sorry for Namwan at this point and it’s because she is scheming. She is obviously pretending they are a couple and she was just honest about her situation with Night 12:29 because she needed the one I’m sure she knows Night likes to help her, she is not stupid, at all. She became annoying to me halfway through this episode. I did not know 3 was out. I might have to watch it. After watching episode 2, I was going to try and wait until all episodes are out, but now I am not sure. I know, eventually, they will get together and break-up, so I wanted to binge. We will see. Maybe we will get lucky and not have the typical break-up, and they can work through whatever/whoever obstacle that we all know will happen. Sorry for the long reply.

They couldn't make life any more unnecessarily complicated for themselves, could they? And that's kind of annoying to this viewer. It's not like Night is or ever has been conflicted about Namwan. She's a nice girl whom he didn't want to hurt after she confessed her love, and he's been too weak for five years to say, "We can just be friends, I'm afraid. I can't offer you more." Namwan knew, when Dream's parents died, who Dream was in love with. That was five years before. She is the type of woman who thinks that it is totally impossible that two men prefer to love each other instead of a woman. Perhaps she thinks she has to "cure" Night. Or she just wants a guy to dominate.
And the "You don't know what you're saying. You're drunk" excuse is always the stupidest line possible. Doesn't everyone know that it is precisely when you're drunk that you say the real truth because your inhibitions drop away?
"I'm not really a bad man. I groped your sister because I was drunk. Blame it on the alcohol, not me." Any brother who accepts that baloney should be slapped by his sister.
How is it conceivably possible that Dream hasn't noticed that Night is looking at him and acting like a little lost puppy who has found his way home? Well, it's possible if, for some reason, you are scared of reigniting the relationship. He relied on his parents and then, "There's no one left. I feel guilty." Sounds to me like Dream is afraid of accepting any emotional commitments from anyone else now, for fear the same thing will happen again.
I could have been sympathetic towards Namwan, holding a torch for Night for five years, though that in itself seems unhealthily obsessive. She's pretty. She's nice. Presumably she could have long since found another guy in the meantime who isn't in love with his best friend.
Did I miss something? What happened to the present for Night that Dream made that fell to the ground when he got the call about his parents? Is it going to return somewhere along the line? Did Night find it and pick it up and keep it all this time?
I think he said the drunk thing bc he felt like Night would take back what he said, or knew Night was NOT ready to express that
