How to catch a Bass on a Bed || Axehead Lake Cook County Illinois Fishing tips Sight Fishing Bass

Today I take the boys out to enjoy some adventure, We set out to axe head lake cook county Illinois. The idea is to use our polarized glasses to reduce the glare on the surface allowing us to see further into the depths to spot bedding fish and then getting them to bite! Legally :) catching bedding fish isn’t hard. I’ve caught every bedding fish I’ve ever attempted. Here’s some tips on how to do it.

I fished Axhead lake in the 70's.
I never saw a bass that big!
I did catch stocked rainbows there in the fall and winter.
A lot of gills on THIER beds.
