It is a very easy to grow plant propagated through cutting.cuttings will grow easily if don't have hormone solution also.cuttings can simply grow in well drained potting soil.hormone powder can be replaced with honey.i tried it many times.just keep it in shade for some time after planting the cuttings and then move it to the spot where it will get sunlight

Compost makes tip of the stem heavy and in that heavy stem flower buds are not formed. Therefore, you may not get flowers from it.
