I'm very thankful to have found this! Thank you for your suggestion of adding rooting hormone to water and soaking for 4-5min. I've watched MANY videos as an avid gardener, and this is my first time to hear that. It makes a lot of sense for several reasons, and I believe it will make for greatly improving successful propagation! I will be subscribing to catch more of your insights in gardening. Very well done, I'll also be sharing this tip when others ask for propagation advice! Warmly, Lori in Indiana
It was very good information on mums.it will be nice if you can mention in which month to grow cutting s and which month to transplant in pots.... For every plant if month is mentioned for propagatin, cutting and replanting..that will be great Thank you

Well explained and simple but very much needed information . Thanks I have one question. Can we make cuttings of the stems of the mums which we get at the florist ? If yes, will the method be the same?
yes they will root ..but thr success rate will be lesser ....as the stem which we get at the shop are not fresh .....just cut the top 3-4 inch off from the stem n plant the bottom stem in the same manner
Urban Gardener oh yes its 25days i rewatch ur video.d light shine on 25when it was first shown may be i overlooked it.huh now satisfied that every mum cutting s takes time as mine.
@@urbangardeningofficial South UK, sir. I got a nice pot plant mum yesterday, white with green centre, unusual colour. Will do that when the plant grows bigger. Thank you sir, your videos are very clear and have lots of info.
I had purchased two chrysanthemums plants from a nursery. After few weeks repotted them to another pots. Did some pinching n had put some manure also. No yet bloomed and very slow growth. Should I put manure or compost for fast growth???
Hi! Thank you for all your great videos. I really enjoy watching your work. I have a few chrysanthemum in my own garden, which are blooming beautifully at the moment. However, I am from Scandinavia, so most likely the flowers will die when winter comes. I am making a few cuttings from mine, so I can have more beautiful flowers next year. When do you recommend I do that cuttings and when should I plant them out? We normally have frost here from dec - march/april. Or is there a way to collect seeds from the flowers, so I can sow new in the spring?
Good evening. I followed your method right till transplanting the newly rooted saplings. I find now that in one or two of these the leaves are curling inwards and look as if they are dying. What could be the reason. It’s about 10-12 days since I transplanted them. They are placed where they get the morning sun for about 4-5 hours. Please advise what to do. Thank you.
The leaves of my chrysanthemum plants are drooping since last few days and it looks like they are dying. What can I do to save them. The plants are fairly young. Please advise.
Make sure drainage holes are not blocked ..avoid overwatering n keep them in full sun ...you can take cuttings and plant them in Sandy soil mix to keep the variety going
I bought my mums from a nursery (November 1st week)and they are very very small . When I bought it , it was bearing flowers . Now all the flowers have dried up (I have removed all dried flowers). It’s been more than 20 days and it has not produced any flower or bud . So shall I throw the plant or propogate it from those small cutting . Which month is suitable to do that as I stay in Delhi
